We were honestly surprised that we really enjoyed our stay here. We came in for the weekend, as it was one of the only parks in the area that had availability for the first weekend of the Strawberry Festival (still 45 minutes away in Plant City). When we originally made the reservation we hadn't yet adopted our dog, so we had to work that out at check-in. The woman at the desk was understanding and helpful.  She explained all the rules while we waited for our vet to fax over the shot records and she even made us a copy to keep in our TT so we'll have it for the next time a park requires it.  They do escort you to your site and monitor/guide your parking very closely. However, this makes sense considering it appears that at some point they inserted additional sites between all the original existing sites, making them VERY tight. The "in between" sites are facing the original sites, and hookup boxes are shared. Sewer hookups are oddly placed on many sites and will probably require a double length of hose for most rigs. Our awning was about 3 inches from the awning of the neighbor facing us and in some sites the awnings could not be opened all the way. All that being said, the managers are good at getting the rigs in correctly if you follow their directions, and the seasonal residents we met were all friendly, helpful, and funny.  They were kind to my kids too, which (sadly) is unusual in this type of park, in our experience. I can definitely see where it's not ideal for everyone, but we were lucky to get good neighbors on our stay and kept a good attitude about the "closeness" which made it seem more funny than annoying. Everyone was respectful of quiet hours and other rules, and we slept well and had moderately decent water pressure and good electric connection.

Pros: The Saturday morning pancake breakfast was delicious, and my kids ate free and were very happy about it since I hadn't planned pancakes for this trip. We played shuffle board and fed bread to the fish and turtles in the pond, which was relaxing and enjoyable. Friendly people.

Cons: Tight spaces. Too pricey for what you get (but that's common for this area of FL.) Dog park is small and has a big gap near the bottom of the gate, so watch your pup near the exit if they are a runner, because they might be able to squeeze under. 10am checkout felt very early.

This is a great place, management is super friendly and helpful. Stayed here the last 4 years. The reviewer that left 1 star is full of crap all 3 times

This is a very friendly place to stay. Has laundry facilities and a bath house that are located together. A lot of activities to participate in. We will be back.

Great place to get out of the cold and snow of Iowa for the winter months. The campgrounds keep getting better every year. We arrived just after Christmas and stayed until April.  Great monthly rates and very friendly people.

They are pull thru spaces but they stand around watching to make sure you are exactly straight the way they want you to be!

We have two medium sized dogs that the dog park was too small for. So we took our dogs to a back field away from everyone to let them play off leash a few minutes and got scolded for it. And then my husband opened the hood of our truck to check the oil and got scolded for it. Just seems like management has no common sense.

Masonic park and youth camp for many years and only opened to public last two years. Several nice people but park is too rigid for us. First clue first day when parking in our spot (they only have back-in) the staff was telling my husband (who used to drive a semi) turn left , turn right, turn left after he jumped on our running board and blocked my husband rear-view mirror, my exasperated husband says "what do you want me to do?" The staff mgr says "Do what I tell you to do!" And for 7 days it only got worse as they follow you around in their golf carts making sure you don't break rules.

The camp is nothing fancy, but the folks that either snowbird here or live year round are just grand!  Our first night, we had at least 8 visitors stop by to welcome us and invite us to the various camp activities. We felt like part of a family the very first week!

We stayed a month, went to Wednesday night bingo, attended community BBQs and a soup cook off, had pancake breakfast with everyone each Saturday,and attended their Sunday Bible study and church service.  By the end of our stay, we didn't want To Leave!  We formed friendships that will bring us back next year!

The monthly fee is low, the wifi is good, they have full services and lots of outdoor activities.  We would recommend this Park to everyone!

We came in on a raining night & the people that work here guided us to our spot. The staff is very friendly as so are the residents. Very quiet place. We brought our dogs & they loved the dog run here. The shower facilities are good nice water pressure. The laundry facilities are in the same building as the showers. Very reasonable rates. We're definitely staying here again.

Florida's best kept secret.  Highly recommended.
