Palmetto Walmart Supercenter

I live a few miles away and shop there a lot.  It is not a nice neighborhood to camp in.  I would suggest the Walmart on Hwy 64 near I-75.  Much better area. 

Signs now posted everywhere no overnight parking. With a semi truck trailer with a circle le and red line through. Used to look like a truck stop every day but they put an end to it now. Getting harder to find parking in the area for anyone free overnight. 

Stayed there for just 1 night after being turned away from the state park, I found there was alot road noise until the early hrs of the morning when things settled down for the remainder of the night secondly I woke up in the morning smelling fumes from a auto cleaning shop and a dry cleaning plant located a 100 yards away. I would recommend it in a pinch.

My husband and i had a $200 pop up tent on the back of our camper.  Woke up the next morning and it was stolen along with a bag of straps, tip ties and bungies.  They cut the straps holding it all down.  Wouldn't call this a safe place to stop overnight.

Very quiet parking lot, we were there 3 nights. A few rvs and trucks were there. 

Stayed here several nights in March 2016.  Surprisingly quiet, given its location next to a major highway. Clearly numerous permanents. Many truckers, RVs and car-sleepers. Clean, level parking lot.  RVs tend to stick together, car-sleepers stick together. Felt safe.

Très beau Walmart grand parking, magasin propre accueillant, mais beaucoup de camion la nuit, il on une permission spéciale ,
mais on peux faire avec  cela 😳
