Little Manatee River State Park

This is a great park it’s a little on the expensive side compared to other state parks in the area I stayed in the horse loop where they have stalls for horses but I didn’t see any horses I did see two horses on the dirt road 

This place is pristine and gorgeous! You have shade shade shade. Your RV is almost in a cubicle with a lot of privacy. The staff is so courteous and kind, the lady gave my dogs some milk bones. I would stay here again.

There are so many positives about this park. Staff was friendly and helpful. They sell ice and firewood at the check in station. Campground is far inside the park so you feel secluded and far from the surrounding development. Small campground with lots of space and vegetation between sites. Sites were clean and well maintained. There is a new bath house with 2 washers and dryers, plus outdoor laundry sink and spotless bathrooms and showers. Roads are well maintained and dump station had two dumps and was clean and orderly. 
This park has many equestrian facilities, stables, and sites just for horse trailers and many, many horse trails.
There are additional bathrooms, picnic areas and a nice screened in pavilion near the playground.
We had a very enjoyable 3 night adventure. Sadly bike and kayak rentals were closed due to covid.
Our biggest complaint was about dog owners. Lots of campers are not cleaning up after their dogs! They only have one dog baggy station and garbage site for dog waste next to the dump station. There are no bags available around the campground. We travelled with our dog, cleaned up our poop and other piles we found, but come on folks, the campgrounds are not your personal toilet!

the park updated the restroom facilities and they are beautiful.  also updated electric and water poles.  their still working on the park but it's very nice 

One of our favorite Fl St Pks. Only draw back when we stayed last year was the bath house is still not useable. They have portables which aren’t terrible, but still a drawback as they flooded ( and not with just water) twice while we were there. 

Nice secluded campground. Only complaint we have is the same one we have about many FL state parks, gate closes way too early, sometimes as early as 5:30.

I always stay here, quite peaceful and friendly. Plenty of trails for walking and pet friendly 

Nice state park, offers full hookups and dump stations. Lot sizes are a bit small but still private. Wildlife is seen everywhere. We like Lake Manatee StatePark better, but this is still a nice and relaxing campground.
