Alafia River State Park

2nd year we’ve camped here to ride our mountain bikes. Site #19 is fantastic, very large with areas of sun and shade. Back-in site with water and electric, very level asphalt surrounded on two sides by tall grass. Plenty of room for the pups!😀No wi-fi or internet, but about 24 OTA channels. Bathrooms are very clean but not heated. Stayed in site #23 last year and it’s a great site also. Great place to camp if you enjoy peace and quiet.

We will never Camp here because Campground is Small and strange. hardley no shade and too remote. I cancelled our reservation to ARSP.

One of our favorite parks to go and relax. 

Very nice park! Friendly and professional Rangers... had to cut my stay short due to Hurricane Ian but was able to stay 4 days and enjoyed it very much!

This place is nestled in the country. Old Florida. When I arrive it was at capacity, luckily I made my reservations two months ago. It’s beautiful and has a pretty scenery. Will come again.

The park is a bit far from basically everything, but it is a nice place to rest. Decent space and a good price. 

This is a very nice state park especially if into mountain biking. Yes mountains in Florida! Use to be a phosphate mine so man made hills, make for great biking. Also the sites are private and clean. Can get a little wet in the summer months but I still give it a five because of the private sites with 50amp. Bathrooms are very clean too.
