Luverne Campground

Called ahead about an hour before arrival and got vm so I left a message and receive a text back shortly stating they had room and gave directions on where to park. We arrived and found our RV camp spot with no problems. Had full hookups. The ground has only about 9 spots and a couple of Them looked like seasonal people there.  There was one bathroom that is both his/hers on the property. Has a toilet and a shower. Shower was good and strong water pressure. Did not notice any train or other noises overnight as someone else stated.

The property has several cute different themed cabins for rent. It looked like a little village the way it was set up. Was very cute and would be tempted to stay there when not traveling in the RV.  There is a Pay box by the windmill so I put your money in provided envelopes and drop into a box. Very convenient. I didn’t really see an office anyplace so not sure of there is one. All spots had a campfire ring. 

Place was great until the next am the neighbor had three barking dogs which went on non stop. One of which was not leashed up but running around crazily. I talked to the neighbor and was told this happens daily w these dogs when the guy gets home from work. Like wow this was the am and it appeared he was packing up to leave for
Good as I think he had been there a while. The dogs were out of control with the barking I couldn’t stand it. We wanted to stay longer but couldn’t stand all The barking . In addition the guy had a diesel truck which he left running all Morning as he left and came back. Not sure why u would need to leave a D truck run in this day and age as they are not the same as 20 years ago when u let them run.   Overall would prob stay there again as the price was great! Ok

We found this little campground while traveling from Alaska to our home in Florida. Full hookups! We got a back in site. There were 5 spots for bigger coaches. Very nice manager helped us with directions. 30 dollars a night! A small lake with a beach area. Swimming, fishing, and a playground for the kids. It also had a few cabins to rent out. 

A parking lot turned 9 site campground by a small park and pond, surrounded by city and industry.  Water connections all had extension cords taped by them, which was concerning, but electric boxes look relatively new and worked fine.  Train, road, and industrial noise is fairly steady.  Other campsites look seasonal/long-term. Fine for an Overbrook overnight close to I90 and water is fine.
