Royal River Casino RV Park

Labor Day 2022, only 3 other rigs besides mine so not crowded. Motel entrance is the second set of doors when walking over from the RV lot. Checking in took some time because their computer system didn't list Austin Texas as an available city (its the capital of TX)??! Check out is 11a. If you want to use the pool and poorly setup /maintained single shower stall, you must get a card key from the front desk, which they happily, although somewhat slowly provided. 

Stayed here one night. It’s in the parking lot next to the casino with views of grasslands. There were 2 other campers, so not busy. There’s a shower in the pool area that’s made available for campers. Dump station is in one area but potable water is in another area. Electric hook up but check boxes before parking. Boxes not maintained. 
I wouldn’t recommend the Friday night seafood buffet. Don’t fall for the players club senior meal deal. Quite different than 4 years ago when we stopped here. After getting 5 pts (about $20), go to kiosk and print $5 Sr meal deal, now they have a “special senior menu” and it offered Mac and cheese, BLT, chicken fingers, etc. but all we’re about $10 so you pay $5 plus tax. Not a deal. Before you paid $5 for regular menu choice. Friendly staff and still a great deal for a one night stop.

RV Park is a well maintained, well lighted, level parking lot.  consists of 18 30 Amp spaces and 2 50 amp spaces. The park was surrounded by a grassy area that was suitable for dog walking. They provided a doogie poo baggie dispenser that was easy to find. The water was turned off for the season. This is quite common for this time of year and area and a person is just darned lucky to find a place to plug into anywhere on I29 at this time. Hook ups were decent. Cable was included in the rate. There were dumpsters available and not overflowing. Staff impressed me. They responded quickly to my several emails with questions. When checking in, staff advised me that we could use the hotel pool at no charge. We were the only folks in the park for the 2 days we were there.  Buffet was pretty good on Mexican night. This park was well worth our 7 mile drive off I29.  I give em 5 stars and will stop again. 

We stayed for one night & there were only 2 others camping. Checked in with the hotel to get the keys to the electric and pool/shower. Join the players club to print out the daily $5 buffet coupon. We used one for supper & then went in the next morning to print one for breakfast. No WiFi in the campground. Free coffee & soda in the casino snack bar area. Came out $120 ahead playing a slot, can’t beat that! Definitely a great stay for only $10.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and lucky to get one of the 2 50 amp plug-ins. Cost is $10 per night.  Check in at the hotel desk to get pedestal key.  Join the players club and get $5 free play.  Senior buffet discount coupon is available  Monday thru Thursday and is good for lunch or dinner.  Buffet  at lunch and dinner was good with many items, lots of desserts, good service.  Casino entrance  area is being renovated so enter from hotel  or the north side of building (marked).  Friendly  hotel and casino staff.

We stayed in our pull behind camper for one night and the spot is big enough to leave our truck hooked up. 30 amp available, 2 spots have 50 amp. It’s actually an asphalt parking lot. No WiFi at RV Park & we were at the closest spot to the hotel. We were Labor Day weekend & nonproblem getting a spot. Rest room and shower is a long way away, at the pool inside the hotel. And it’s only available to campers during the pool hours. It was $10 plus tax. It was very quiet, a few picnic tables but not one for each spot, nice view if you park right.

I stayed for free in the parking lot. There is a place for semi's and rvs with on plug ins. No free pop/soda or coffee inside. Machines are worthless to the person feeding it.

We stayed here on our way to a job in MN at it was wonderful. The sites are huge and had 30amp hook ups and free cable that had 100 channels all for $10 plus tax. We went inside the Casino and got the Buffet for $5 (must be 50 or older) Very smokey casino and don't expect to get rich but the Overnight for our 5th wheel was fantastic for the price. Easy in and easy out.

Not sure why it shows 50 amp hookups, our spot only has 30 amp. Can't complain for the price though.
