Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls

Shady, level site. If you have kids lots of things to keep them busy! Friendly staff.

we stopped here on our way east after lots of windy mountainous driving.  It was during the heat wave and we were excited about the pool.  The pool was clean and excellent for all of our kids.  It has a gradual grade so that our youngest didn't have to wear a life jacket. Store was clean and well stocked.  We didn't use the bathrooms.  The laundry was decent in the one location, the further location out had only one working washer.  They had activities throughout the day for kids, many of them cost extra though.  Which is a toss up for us - when paying extra already  - it seemed sad to have to pay more to play the laser tag and some other activities.  However, overall would stay again.  Sites were level and clean.  

It was Mothers Day weekend and young kids running the place were rude.  The sewer dump was higher than our 5th wheel tank outlet at the site we were given and we had to change sites in pouring rain.  Other than that the park has a good laundry and store.  God 50 amp service.

We stayed at this campground twice in October 2022 (off-season). Upon check-in we were escorted to our chosen site. It was level and the hook ups worked fine. OTA channels were sufficient for our needs. The showers were between one and two stars…the shower curtains were disgusting with mold and mildew at the bottom, as can be expected at the end of high season, I guess, but the handicapped shower was fine—no curtain, walk-in, with a door. Laundry room functioned. The staff we interacted with were nice enough the first trip. Our second trip was during their (apparently) annual Halloween festivities. The place goes nuts with families and kids, none of them campers, for the various activities like hayrides and such. The staff that time was less than stellar. Actually, Mr Owner was decent, but no one else seemed to give a damn. I understand it was a special weekend (very busy), plus off-season, but if you have paying customers, you treat them well. You smile, you say thanks. You don’t ignore them or grunt your answers to their questions. And your store is open during the hours you post. It was scattershot during our second stay. We don’t see a reason to return.

Park was nicely kept and clean but power was poor 116 volts could not run two acs.

Great stay! Best wifi of any campgeound we've been at in 7 years - and that says a lot since we travel in our motorhome for 6 months of every year!  Staff was incredibly accomodating and helpful.  We would definitely reimmend and will stay here again next time we are traveling through Souix Falls.  Bonus: we stayed 2 nights and got the 3rd night free (mid-week special)

Stayed here for 2 nights on our way out west. Nice park with lots of fun activities for kids. 

Drastically different than the run down Wisconsin Dells. Very well kept, wonderful staff! Laser tag, mini golf, bounce pillow, crafts, rock quart and so much more. Clean and level sites. Worth the price!

There are a lot of sites here, and luckily it was not busy. Some of these sites are so close, that if your neighbor had a fire in their pit, it would be 2 feet away from your camper. We stayed at the very end, close to the hillside, so it was a nice view up. There is grass and a few trees. It’s close to the interstate, so you do get road noise. Did not use bath house or anything. Playground was ok - looks like it was really nice at one point, but most of the working parts don’t move anymore. Overall, I would not want to stay here when it’s busy for more than a night. 

Good for overnight stay. Close to Sioux Falls. Camp store was not open late but was able to call and get some help with firewood after hours. Everything at the campground closed too early. 

Stopped for only one night on our way to Mt Rushmore. It is very family oriented with tons of activities for kids. The pool looked awesome. The staff was also awesome, we asked about what to do on the area, We were told to go to Falls park, the falls were beautiful and a must see if you are in the area. The RV park was very clean Yogi Bear made a appearance, not sure if todays youth know Yogi. Dog park was ample. Its near I 90, but really didnt hear anything after 10pm, it was only 70 degrees and it was the first time we slept with windows open and no AC, being from Florida so it was a great change of pace, even with smoke smell. Don't  let the old negative reviews stop you from staying here.

We were lucky they had a space available when we came through.  We did not have reservations and rolled in around 7:30 p.m. tired and hungry.  We did miss all of the activities (pool) because we came in late and left early on our road trip.  Perhaps we could have stayed somewhere else for less money but we knew we would be safe here and had a great campfire and smores and night sky watching.  Great activities for the kids here and lots of events to keep everyone busy and happy.

Have stayed at this park over the years.  Very friendly.  Well maintained during a peak time.  Has a pool, cable TV.  Sites have full hookups.  Hard to get to because of road construction and repair.

We loved this campground on our way to Mt. Rushmore. Great first stop with lots for the kids to do. Pool was a little on the unclean side, or we would have rated it a 5. 

The office was very nice and professional. The park itself is dirty, very crowded, neighbors fire pit right next to our window, literally. $60.00 a nite, pool overcrowded. Will not stay here again.

Expected winter rate to be less when no water available on each site. They cannot control the weather but they can control the rate.
