Palisades State Park

Beautiful state park with lots of hiking.  And lots of mosquito’s. Queen loop is in the shaded area with lots of trees.  New King  loop is basically all out in the open. New showers and bathrooms in King loop.  

 Use reserves weekends 90 days in advance..nice park, paved sights all level.

The sites are spacious and.far part. Asphalt pads and.are wide so you step out onto them rather than dirt or grass. The trails are very rocky and not for old folks.  Down side is they charge almost 10 dollars more per night for out of state peeps. You also pay 9 dollars per day for park pass. Annual pass is 36 dollars. They have 30 some sites . Only 2 showers for peoples use. They were clean and well maintained.
