Streeter Park Campground

Awesome city park and camping facility (for a donation of choice). We are pulling a 38ft fiver and had no problem getting a spot. The sites are a little close, but ok for a overnight stay. 30amp power. Good water pressure. Dump station on the exit. We have paid a lot for less. We will leave a generous donation.

We've stopped here in the past on our way to the Black Hills, from Kansas. Super nifty little city park campground for FREE. But as noted by others, how can you not leave a generous donation. Nice park to stroll around in and the city pool adjacent to the campground is available for a couple bucks normally, this trip, we hit "Aurora Days" weekend, and swimming is free.
Campground has a nice dump station, all cement dumping area, no gravel.... The campsites are gravel pads tho, but they're fine...you share a water spigot with supplied splitter on one side of your campsite, and a dual electric post on the other side of your campsite.  Pads are sorta close together, I guess about 20 feet between campers, but we're using this as an overnight stay only, so no biggie for us. 
We stopped again this year, just to insure it's still available... Glad it was!! 

On our way east, stayed 3 nights to visit our son before moving on.  We stayed at Streeter Park and the site was amazing. It is all by donation,  but who wouldn’t want to support this park.  Electric and water sites, with a dump station at the front of the park if you need it or on the way out.  Maximum stay is 4 nights and the views of the trees in the morning are breathtaking. It is a quiet park on hwy 34 but you can hardly hear the road noise.  Lots of trails to walk and we will surely stay here again if we are passing this way.

This is a well kept city park. It has about 16 sites with water and electric and space for more if dry docking. There's an easily accessible dumpstation & a dumpster near the entrance. The playground is great. There are bathrooms but no showers. I'd imagine there are showers in the pool & waterslide area but it was not open when we were there. Our favorite part is the many well maintained gravel walking trails. It is a no reservations park. First come first served. The limit is 4 nights. They ask for a donation which is well worth it. We'd definitely be back.
