Prairie Oasis RV Park

This is a great little campground. Beautiful treed setting with a lake, swings and a playground. Very well taken care of. Quiet. Just adorable. 

Clean park, level gravel sites, nice shade in some sites, onsite pond. Highway is nearby but can barely hear it. Office has ice cream and ready to bake pizzas for sale.

Had a full hook up. Very clean, sites were very nice. The owners were super friendly. Nice area to walk the dogs and although close to the highway, surprisingly quiet. Easy on and off the highway, fuel right there and not far from some stores so we could do a little restock. If our travels take us this way again, I would absolutely stay.

Super nice park, big spaces, we didn't have to unhook our toad, from out 39 ft A class.. We came in with a hail and lightning storm..Nice warm, friendly office, easy access to site.. 50 and 30 Amp spots, pretty level gravel pad, very reasonable rates..$52.00 a night. Super clean. Would definitely stay here again... 

Stopped here on our way home from Wyoming! This place is a gem… easy to make a reservation! The staff (Sam) was super friendly and accommodating. We pulled in pretty late and left early but the showers are soooo clean and nice! Thank you!! 

Stayed one night on our travels through Nebraska. Friendly and very accommodating host (even tho we called after business hours). Level, nice length, gravel site with mature trees. Very clean and well-kept campgrounds. Some freeway noise, however, campground sits off from the freeway so not nearly as bad as many. Worked well for us. We would stay again. 

We stayed here recently with new owners. Very nice park with lots of room and grass for walking dogs. Easy on and off the hwy…

This campground has very nice clean bathrooms and showers. Campsites are gravel but very level. Utility sides of campsites are close but table side is nice. Lots of trees and a nice large pond. Saw people on paddle boards. I would say it's a nice place to spend the night during your travels.

Everything was great- neat and tidy campground, spotless restrooms, very nice owners on site, pond, trees, and flowers. Fuel stop at the exit. And the highway noise was minimal.  And the Wi-Fi worked for us.

Very nice! The price was definitely reasonable for what we received. Level lots with plenty of space. . The bathhouse was super clean and the shower was hot with plenty of water pressure! They were slightly small, but maybe others wouldn’t notice that! I love the pond and pretty swings. The whole atmosphere was quaint and homey. They sold ice, a definite plus for us! Great accommodations and would be back if we are in this part of town again!

Meticulously groomed park. Nice level sites. Owners very friendly. Did not use restrooms.  No longer a good Sam park. Only negative is proximity to I 80 noise. 

This is a nice, quiet, clean well kept camp. Level gravel sites with lots of pull-throughs. Dinged one star for the tight, narrow pull-throughs at the front NW part of the camp (see photos), and tight roads made for tricky maneuvering in a big rig. Wi-Fi was ok. Otherwise, this suited our purposes nicely for our two night stay to see family in York. But the tight but long pull thru sites might keep us from staying here again.

I agree with all the positive reviews.  Owners Todd and Patty were friendly and ensured we had a great stay.  Easy access off highway, but no highway noise.  Solid crushed stone drive and level sites.  Very clean and modern facilities.  Nice little fishing pond and well manicured grounds.  Swinging benches placed throughout.  Wife and I walked near a bench to watch the beautiful sunset and Todd came over and wanted to wipe the bench down in case their was any bird doo on it.  Nicely stocked store.  Todd offered complimentary firewood for the pit.  Services and water pressure were good, as was the WiFi  (at one of the furthest sites).  Relaxing to watch them harvest the surrounding farmlands.

Called on our way after hours and Todd was the sweetest guy and waited for us to arrive after 8pm. Once we arrived he checked us in and guided us to our spot. The sweetest campground. They had seat swings to sit and relax by, a pond, a small shop if you need any pantry items, i believe had ice and local beef and firewood for sale too. The bathrooms were extremely EXTREMELY, clean. Nice level pull through sites did not even have to unhook. I was sad we couldn’t stay an extra few nights as this campground just felt like home. Quiet, peaceful, CLEAN, level sites, great hook ups, and great great great ownership. Keep up the amazing work, you deserve it. 

We needed a stop for a two day break from traveling and are so glad we picked here! 
Everything positive everyone says is true...BUT...
If you need dependable wifi then I disagree with the other reviews.
Yes it's strong but only if you're near the source.  Ours was on and off constantly a d therefore useless.
That was the only down side.  We would come again without a thought!

Great little campground where you can tell the owners (Todd and Patti) take great pride in there little oasis! :).  They have nice long pull through sites where we didn’t have to disconnect our towed vehicle.  Several of the sites are well shaded but since we have a satellite dish we were put in a site with no obstructions.   There is a nice pond on the property where you can use the pedal boats at no charge.  There is a swing set and sandbox for the kiddos, horse shoes for the adults with several nice wooden swings throughout the park.  There isn’t much in Henderson but this is a great campground close to the interstate.  Would definitely camp here again if I am in the area. 

Beautifully maintained campground with charming touches of flowers spread throughout the camping area.   Nice flat campsites with shade trees and a cute little lake with swings.  Very nice bathroom facilities and a well stocked camp store that includes a book exchange.  Owner and wife are very friendly and helpful.  We'll definitely stay here again.

Traveling east this was an over night spot and it was perfect. Clean, safe, so peaceful and pretty. Well stocked store, great WiFi and friendly owners. They take great pride in keeping a welcoming oasis and it shows. Level pull through sites that are spaced well. Highly recommend for an overnight or longer if you can. 

90ft sights! Didn’t have to unhook toad! Full hook ups! Yes it’s gravel but it’s level!! Each sight has 2 sewer dumps! They park every site every other so they’re is plenty of space between campsites, until they fill up. Quiet, clean and a pond with free paddle boats to be used with patrons. We will be back to plan longer. 

We had an exceptionally good experience from the moment we made our booking phone call to saying good-bye to the owners on check-out! The park is spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. There is a lot of grassy open space and big trees. All the hookups worked as intended, and the Wi-Fi was strong. The store is well-stocked with essentials and luxury items. We took a free paddle boat ride on the pond. We saw bunnies, a variety of birds, dragonflies, and even a toad! We would definitely stay here again, and we recommend this park for folks who don’t need big playgrounds, a pool, or kids’ activities.

This is what campgrounds should be! Awesome husband and wife owners who take great care of the property and really care about taking care of customers. The sites are long pull thrus with big shade trees. There is a small lake with free paddle boats! The grounds are beautiful and feature a swing set, horseshoe pits, and a sand box with kids toys. I remember camping as a boy (45 years ago) and these were my favorite campgrounds - family friendly and relaxing after a day battling the wind on Interstate 80. I would give this campground 10 stars if I could!

Very clean! Rest rooms and showers are terrific!! Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. 

What a gem of a campground!  Nice level gravel sights with nice grass between spaces.  Strong Wi-Fi signal.  Exceptionally clean and well maintained.  The owners/managers are extremely friendly husband and wife team.  We have a 40 ft class A and toad and was parked in a pull thru spot.  Maneuvering was a breeze with no tight spots.  We will stay here again next time we pass by!!

This a beautiful campground.   Nice pond and picnic area.  Level pull through sites.  Patty and Todd are very helpful, accommodating hosts.  Great place to stop after a long day of driving.

This is our second time here.  We love it.  It is convenient to the hwy but you are far enough away that you don’t hear the traffic.  The campground is very clean.  The owners are very nice.  They even escort you to your site!!  Each site has a picnic table and fire ring.  It is the perfect place to stop for the night while traveling.

Stayed 2 nights in the most level spot in years. Todd guided us in perfectly (Watched him do the same for others). He goes above and beyond to save you from making unneeded corrections. Patty's gave great phone directions and a warm and unhurried check-in. Grounds are very large and meticulously cared for. It is an Oasis in the Prarie.

Easy on-off the interstate. Easy access for big rigs  towing (we are 75' overall). Super nice owners, nicest folks we've met in a long time. 
Would give 5 stars but I leave 5 stars for resorts. Didn't use the facilities. 

Our last night on our way home after a 28 day trip. Beautiful place, kind owners, nice large site, good FHU utilities. Bought some steaks they sell in the office that melted in our mouth! Watched a gorgeous sunset. Only drawback was Jake brakes are a bit noisy on the trucks on highway but it didn’t really bother us. Would definitely return if in the area. Camped in a 40ft 5th wheel.

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer.  Well maintained and very friendly owners.  Convenient to I-80 but could not hear the traffic.  

Overnight stay, cleanest shower facility’s I’ve seen in a long time. Nice level spots. Owners are very friendly. Very peaceful and clean campground. We will definitely stop again.

Wanted to stay but whoever answered the phone when I called to ask about the shower facilities was very rude. Questioned me why I couldn't use my own in my rv. That's not their decision if you are paying their full rate then you should have full use of their facilities! I asked what difference did it make? ......then she drops the 💣....bathroom facilities are in use ONLY if you show proof of Covid vaccine.  🤬🤬

This was one of the best RV parks we have stayed at. Very clean bathhouse, quite area and the grounds were beautiful. Offered military discount and a free pen:-)

Easy access from I80. Wonderful hosts and spacious sites. They take excellent care of the property/grass. Long gravel sites for big rigs and towing. Level sites with nice grass in between. Very dog friendly folks. Nice pond to sit at as well. 
Enjoyed a beautiful sunset and a fire. 

This is the second time we have stayed at this campground and we would definitely stay again.  Very nice, clean and level sites with hardly any highway noise. Owners very friendly.  They gave us a 10% discount for staying here a second time.  We stayed here in 2015.  No cable but there were several local air stations and we only stayed one night so it was fine.  We were in the 50 amp area and could have used our satellite if we had wanted to but didn’t see a need.  Internet was also very good so were able to watch a couple of shows on our Firestick.  One thing to note is that they close at 8pm so they don’t accept late arrivals after that time.  If you have dogs, they don’t have a dog park but they have plenty of room to walk or run your dogs.  

Owners accommodated same day reservation, hand picked a shady spot, and even helped us troubleshoot our electric panel.  Park is clean, well maintained, and spots a lengthy.

The owners are amazing and really want to make sure you enjoy your stay.  The gravel sites are level and are very easy access.  The gardens and pond are so peaceful.  Wooden swing benches allow a relaxing moment.  WIFI was good and several over the air TV channels.

We just loved this campground. So incredibly clean and the kids loved the swings and paddle boats. The owners were incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Quiet, safe and the icing on the cake was that they had amazing steaks for purchase. One of the best we’ve stayed at in our RVing adventures.

Nice sz pond 4 fishing or free paddle boat. Firewood given as well. This CG is very well kept. Volley ball section n playground 4 the kids. No laundry. Right off the I 80 very convenient 4 an overnight stay.

Enjoyed overnight, and even though they were cleaning up after a big storm, they could not have been more accommodating. We will be back. 

Great stop over. Level sites, easy access dump station. Beautiful park like setting. Friendly hosts. We also had a fire fly show over the pond and yard. 

Pros- Immaculate, well-maintained.   Large, grassy areas for dogs, pretty pond with free paddle oats.  Good cell service, wifi available, our satellite worked well.  Extremely friendly and helpful staff/owners. 

Cons- Rural.  Few amenities or attractions in the area.  Wal-Mart ~20 minutes east.  Some engine break noise from I-80. 

This was a very relaxing stop after a day of driving. Todd and Patty are so nice and accommodating.  Laundry and restrooms were not open yet because of Covid but will be this month. The campground has all pull through sites large enough to accommodate a rigs towing. A beautiful landscape with rolling hills and a pond. Birds singing made it a place to pull out your chair and just unwind.  The sell Nebraska beef in thir store so we  enjoyed a nice steak for dinner. Highly recommend this stop.

We stayed for 1 night, wish we could have stayed longer. The park is beautiful! 

We stayed one night in a pull thru (31) with full hookups. The sewer was rough to connect to but the utilities were well placed. The sites are very close but there is a thin strip of grass with a table between each site. The sites were very level. The owners were awesome and the park was very well maintained. Its right off 80 on the north side. Nice place!

We were running later than their 8PM check in deadline due to bad weather. They waited for us and were so nice and welcoming! Nice little campground. Would give them 5 stars but the bathroom was closed due to COVID. We will return.

I must say, this was the best campsite we found on our LONG trip from Florida, Mass, and then finally to Spokane, WA.  Patty & Todd are amazingly friendly and helpful.  You can see pride of ownership in EVERYTHING they do and have done. Level spaces, with LOTS of room, a lake/pond, plenty of places to roam and sit and watch the amazing sunset. Oh...AND FREE FIREWOOD! Who does that?! We hadn't had a fire this entire trip and wound up having one at night AND the morning before we took off.  If we are ever out this way again, I think we'll stop just to say high...super nice folks!

Great stopover off the interstate.  Owners are doing a great job keeping it up. Gravel pads 
with full hookups long enough for 44 ft. Motorhome and Jeep toad.  Very peaceful.

This was an amazing overnight stay.The owners are so sweet,helpful and friendly.The campground was immaculate, very well kept.We all enjoyed paddleboating which was free.There’s also fishing.The owner will start a campfire for you, free WiFi.My kids also enjoyed the sandbox and the swing set, while my husband and I enjoyed swinging on the swing overlookin pond.

Wonderful hosts and beautiful, lush landscape.  We enjoyed the fire pit (fire wood included).  Lovely stop, highly recommend.

Staff was the friendliest I’ve seen so far on my month long trip. Campground was impeccable, with great access. I highly recommend this campground.

Owners Todd and Patty were wonderful.  We stopped here for one night on our way  to Denver.  Would definitely stop again.  Close to the interstate but far enough away that is was very quite.  Nothing else around except Soybean fields.   Bathrooms were closed because of COVID-19.  Appreciated the fact that Todd and Patty were taking COVID-19 seriously and were wearing masks when inside the office.  

We just needed a spot to park for the night enroute to Mount Rushmore. This campground is pristine and the couple that runs it couldn’t be friendlier!  Pride of ownership shows. Easy on and off, but no road noise. Nice, long pull through spots. If you are needing an overnight in the area, we can definitely recommend this one!

This is 2nd time here and Todd and Patty are outstanding. You feel so welcome. This is a clean,  quiet, park. Easy access of the highway, we had a Pull thru are long and plenty of room. We had a 40 ft, motorhome with tow, didn’t need to unhook, level sites, 50 amp FHU, lots of room in the park. WiFi is good, and satellite is good. Well maintained by Todd. Nice little lake with paddle boats, pet friendly, we will stay again when going thru area.

Very nice campground with plenty of trees and a pond. Easy access on and off freeway. Free paddle boats, playground and storm shelter. Owners make you feel welcome. RV sites are level with 30 and 50 amps. We will be staying here again.

Easy access from fwy (note: our GPS tried to take us south instead of north, the fwy signage and my phone had it right). Very nice owners. With the pandemic they are under several restrictions...every other site, etc. Our site was level and long enough to stay connected. 

Stopped overnight during our return trip home. Owners very friendly and accommodating.Good health protocol in place. Level spots great hook ups nice prairie and pond view ...even in the rain! Will put this one on our travel list.

We’re traveling home to Colorado from PA in. Class C  Motorhome during the Pandemic via rt 80. These folks are fabulous! Happy to accommodate us with Covid protocol in place . Easy access from highway- well maintained- level - hook up great. They are even keeping their office open unto 8 pm.  It looks like a nice vacation stop with a lovely prairie view and pond!Will keep this one in mind for future travels. 

We stayed there 2 nights. The people were very friendly and amazingly helpful. It is very pretty with a little lake right there.  They have sand volleyball, horseshoes and community tables and purchases swing.  Laundry facilities were clean.  They have quarters for you to use so that was helpful. 

Bathrooms were really clean. Dogs were welcome.  There was no fenced dog run, but there is a large green area to play in. When I was outside I heard the highway noise but I didn't when I was in our trailer 

Cost for 4 people with discount was $44. Bathroom and showers very clean and updated. Owners very nice. Campground very clean and taken care of. Would definitely stay here again.

We only spent one night,  but head a pull through spot looking at the lake next to trees and head the best night's sleep of our cross- country trek. Nicely redone clean showers, paddle boats and home-made cookies. Will plan it for the return!

We stopped in for one night and it was a perfect little stop.  It was quiet and clean.  The men’s restroom was the cleanest I have ever seen at an RV park.  The couple that run the park were very friendly and helpful.  I would stop again!

This was the nicest spot so far on our journey from Idaho to NY. We were greeted with oatmeal raisin cookies & showed to our spot.  Nice quiet place near a huge corn field. There is a pond with paddleboats available. The bathrooms & showers are very nice & clean. We even saw fireflies when it got dark.

Big shade trees, pond, paddle board, clean modern showers, flat spot, and helpful host. They give you a load of fire wood for free. Gave us yummy homemade cookies at entry. Quiet and clean. Great spot of one night. Gravel road/pull through. 

Nice people, level sites shade if you would like. Would stay here again.

Very nicely maintained campground.  Grass areas between sites.  FHU, water & electric and tent sites all well situated.  Easy access to I80 and cheap diesel across the Interstate.  Todd and Patty do an excellent job of making guests feel welcome, to include homemade cookies at check in!   Will definitely stop again when traveling on I80 thru Nebraska.

Right off the highway (80) so it’s a very convenient stop for travelers. Bathrooms are very clean and recently remodeled. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Sites are not paved (that would have gave it 5 stars) but are gravel, level pull throughs. Fair prices. 

This is a wonderful stop on I-80. The staff is awesome and very accommodating. Received some great oatmeal cookies upon arrival and they were very helpful. The bathrooms were as clean as we have ever experienced. Would definitely stay here again if traveling through Nebraska. 

Traveling on I 80 in January can mean skating rink RV parks with no open facilities or WiFi...and being thankful there is somewhere besides walmart. We loved the idea of this place due to its name and were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. The folks were very nice and welcoming. We were the only ones there but they made sure the (immaculate) bathrooms had the heat on. The grounds were spotless and have a very nice layout with a broad lawn, chair swings set to watch the sunrise, sunset, and the pond. This was a welcome respite.

Staff was wonderful (friendly,gave us free homemade muffins). Restrooms could not have been cleaner (mens fully remodeled,, womens almost redone). Swings sprinkled around park with great view of pond!  Would definitely recommend a stay here !!

Fantastic park!
Owners were so helpful and gracious! They had delicious muffins for us when we arrived. Offered us a free bundle of wood.
They had paddle boats on a cute pond that we enjoyed (gave us a good workout after sitting in the truck all day) and a sandbox full of toys for our son to play with.
The bathrooms were recently renovated and were spotless. The space we were in was perfectly level (all the others appeared level too) and the grounds overall were beautifully maintained.
We were just here one night passing through but honestly wished we could stay longer. 
Yes there is some highway noise but that can't be avoided if you want a park that's close and easy on and off the highway.
This campground is a true gems.

So pleasant,  newly renovated bath house. Free horseshoes, paddleboats to enjoy and muffins or cookies on arrival!  Nice location,  near Lincoln,  NE. Clean grounds,  these folks really care,  free firewood,  lovely lake.  Pull thru sites.  We may stay an extra day! 

This campground was very nice! Clean, quiet, well kept, level pull-thru sites with plenty of room.  Owners were friendly and gave us home made cookies on arrival.  Whenever we pass this way we'll be sure to stay here again!

This little RV Park is such a jewel! Very neat and clean. The owners were so nice and helpful, even gave us muffins for breakfast next morning.  Quiet and Picturesque among the fields. The best show is at night, fireflies everywhere! Just loved it, will definitely stay here again!

Well maintained. Super nice people they even stayed an extra hour late to make sure we got settled in. The nicest bath house I’ve seen at a campground. 

Quaint little campground right off I-80. The owners were extremely nice. The newly renovated bathroom and showers were very nice! A great place for us to stop while passing through the area.

This is a nice "country" camp, with a pond with paddle boats, a field for walking dogs, a big horseshoe court, a swing.   Lovely view of sun coming up over the nearby cornfield in the morning haze of humidity.  Restrooms were very nice.  Owners are clearly involved and invested in their park.  We would stay again.  Easy pull-through, no leveling required on our gravel site.  40' 5r, didn't need to unhook.

The owners were very friendly and helpful! Patty offered us some home made cinnamon muffins that were a great treat. The grounds were clean and well kept. We stayed there a night during Thanksgiving week on our way to Wyoming. Hope to stay here again in the future. 

Wish I could give more than five stars this place is outstanding got free firewood for a fire at night bathrooms are outstanding they have a wonderful Lake everything is perfect pull through we stayed one night I wish I could go back tomorrow

We enjoyed our one night 'drop in' here.  Very congenial owners who were helpful and accommodating.  Just peaked into the bathrooms and they were very updated and well maintained.  You could hear the highway but the setting is very serene and peaceful.  We definitely will return when we are traveling across Nebraska! We were in a pull thru with our Itasca Navion and tow vehicle August 17th

Nice place, not modern, but very well cared for and well maintained.  Gravels roads and level gravel sites.  Good water pressure, voltage and big rig friendly.  Easy access from I-80.  Little road noise.   

Will absolutely recommend to fellow travelers.  Very clean facilities and grounds. Sites impeccable. Would have rated 5 stars but for one issue. Went to take shower in one of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen, only to be met by very strong odor of cigarette smoke. Must do something about the ventilation cross over between office and bathroom/showers 🤔😝

Patty went the third mile to help me out.  Very clean and nice park. Has a number of buddy sites so if traveling together is very nice or need a place to meet for a few days great layout.  I would stay here again if traveling through on I-80.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night here.  Patty was very friendly and the bathrooms so nice.  Highly recommend.

We pulled in and were greeted by Patty, the very friendly owner.  She led us out to the best campsite for our rig.  This place is very clean-brand new shower facilities.  We'll stop here again.

We pulled in for 1 night and did the laundry. We are full time rvers.  Park is clean and nice. It's an older park but very well kept with newer updated amenities. Park owners very helpful and nice they have owned it 2 years. This is a must stay if it is on your way by. When we come this way again we will stay here.

On our trip across the country, we stopped at the Prairie Oasis RV park. It is a very nice setting, very well kept and clean and very friendly. An exceptional value for its price and we would come here again in a minute. We recommend it highly!

We were practically the only people there, but maybe that's good. Nice restrooms with showers. Heat tape on the waterlines. All was good for our brief stay.

We ended up here due to high winds making our trip to difficult to continue. Sitting in a nice pull-thru 50 amp spot with free wifi and full hook-ups. Level spot, friendly staff, nice ice cream selection - couldn't ask for much more. Restroom & shower were clean. Nice little pond and well mowed add a nice touch too. Happy we stopped here.

Staff very friendly. Far enough from highway for no noise.  We stayed in our motorhome with tow vehicle and 50 amp pull through was more than ample in length.  Only reason for 4 star is due to sites are close together.  Would definitely stay here again.  Great for an overnight stay.  

Great place easy on easy off freeway, all utilities work fine, wifi good, Verizon service good, good shade trees, level drive , we will return in our fifth wheel. Its all you need in an Rv park.
