Little Sioux Park

This campground is truly a hidden gem. Located just a couple miles off US 20. The signage to the park makes it easy to find. Neat, clean, well kept park. Variety of sites, with 20/30/50 electric/ water sites in Riverside campground  and two dump stations, and electric only sites in Bellamy campground  . Lakeside campground has non-electric/tent sites.
  We stayed in Riverside, had a pull thru site that was plenty big for our 43' DP and toad. Nice shade trees. Electric and water work as expected. We did not use the bathhouse. Quiet while we were here, mid-week. 
   Campgrounds are first come, first served. Electric/water sites are $25 per night cash or check only. Electric sites are $23 per night, non-electric sites are $17 per night . Payment to honor box in the kiosk by the entrance. 

$25 water/electric. When you arrive....First find a campsite, Fill out the form at the kiosk with the site number and your address,etc. . Place your money in the form envelope and drop it in the lock box. Plenty of sites were open when I got here around 2:30 in the afternoon. They are still open at 7:00 p.m. The lake is closed now since it is September.

Very nice little park,  well maintained, perfect for a night or two.  They do not take reservations, but we called ahead for availability.  Self-registration. Reasonably priced.  Very close to US 20 ( 5 miles)

Clean, quiet, and very well maintained.  50 spaces with electric, water available, dump station easily accessible, as well as many non electric sites.  Lots of shade trees.  Sites level. Free WIFI.  Lovely setting. Plenty of room to walk dogs, and playground for children.  Not too far off of I-20.  Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful park right off of our route (20). Several sites still available even though it was Labor day weekend. Great place to overnight with electric hookup and drinking water available.

The campground is very well kept and clean. The pads were gravel and fairly level. They had a fire pit with an attached grill and picnic table not chained to the ground with plenty of yard space. Most of the sites have excellent shade and with well-developed trees. The water and electric sites fill up quickly Friday and Saturday. The primitive and electric sites stay fairly open. The different campgrounds are separated by about 1/2 mile or so. I wish we could reserve in advance though to have kept our group together, not it is good to have a first come, first serve too. There is a couple of hiking trails near by. We did not check them out though. There is fishing in the pond and some swans they keep on the north side. The beach is on the south and is great for swimming with clear water. The catfish and bluegills gather right at your feet. The kids spend hours trying to catch them. The sand is pretty good but could be better. Not terrible fine. They have at least two playground for the kids to play at. We enjoyed the rehabilitated prarie land with lots of flowers to gather the pollinators. We will definitely be coming back for another visit!
