Squaw Rock RV Resort and Campground

This is an amazing experience and place to stay excellent customer service and the park was nice and clean the pool was awesome in the hot summer heat and really close to off roading trials 

Paid $55 per night for lousy services. They advertised WiFi but one must stand outside the office door. They advertised pool, but closed. Our site had no sewer hookup. When I asked where the dump station was, the Mgr told me that it was only for those who were staying six days or more! Shower tiny with no sink. I will not return

Goods:
Many of the sites are right on the river.  All sites in the forest.
Shower was clean. 
Nice pool.
Restaurant on site.
Best unleaded fuel price around.

Bads:
No internet,
No Sprint cell service.
No ATT cell service.
No Verizon cell service.
No cable TV.
NO DUMP STATION, and NO sewer service at the sites..  Deal breaker for us.  

We only spent one night at the resort, and while it was right on the river and beautiful, it was not as advertised. 

If you need 50 amps, you better get there early!  The electric Poles are shared between two sites. There is only one 30 amp and one 50 amp per pole. So if you aren’t the first one there, you get 30 amp. 

There are no full hookups on the river. We saw a couple, but most were screwed shut!

There is only Wi-Fi in the office/store, so if you need to work, forget it. There is also no cell service.  

Nice location, cute cabins and pretty well maintained.  The manager could use a good dose of personality. The RV sites are interesting. Every other one is a pull in and being close together hopefully you like your neighbors.  The pull through sites are amongst full timers and old single wide trailer homes closer to river. So stay on the west side of office. 

August 2019 Class A 38 foot.  This is decent place if you are coming to see Mount Rainier or looking for a weekend.  Busy it’s over an hour to Sunrise Visitor Center. But there are some issues.  First people at camp store are very nice and friendly.  There was a wild fire near and where full of info about the fire. A lot of the sites are on the river. All have fire pits. They have a heated pool. Are for volleyball. They do have a shower house but didn’t use. They do have cabins and old school motel rooms.  There is a restaurant next to the camp store. It isn’t ran by the campground, the lease the building to the restaurant. Food wasn’t bad, but little pricey. 

Now the bad. No cell service. This may be what you’re looking for but as a full time rver not us.  We still have a few bills that have to be paid.  Sites are close. 39 wasn’t bad because you only have someone on your back side.  Not all sites have sewer which is a deal breaker. But dump station was out of service. Flooded out the winter of 2018/2019. Guy said we could use a sites to dump that wasn’t being used but chose not too. 

New owners. If you lik camping on a river this a must. Nice pool cabins,  and RV spots. We will be back. 

The owner is very nice and listens to concerns. When we first got there it was late. GPS/Nav was off by 6 miles due to no reception and poor markings. We pulled in to  find a usual resident complaining of the fire ban, but the owner was nice and told us our site. After getting settled in that night we woke up and the pool was getting ready for the day. Being an old KOA the amenities were nice but no dump along the creek. The pool is deep in the middle and shallow on both ends. The sites can be cramped but still a great place to camp. During elk and deer hunting season, it becomes base camp for a ton of hunters. Even has cool storage for your bagged animal.
