Yakima Walmart Supercenter

Stopped in and customer service said the city doesn't allow overnight parking.  Cabellas in Union Gap allows it. 

Stayed there last summer. Today there was another huge RV with a toad and me in a van conversion. Get out... went to Cabellas. 

Manager allowed us to stay one night but told us they will soon be posting signs for no overnight RV parking. There are many signs that say no semi truck parking. Looks like Walmarts are going to be a thing of the past for parking we have been across the country and there’s more of them that don’t allow parking then do unfortunate

We spent the night with no problems.  A few other RV’s there as well.  There are signs that say  no semis and no idiling signs.  I suspect it’s because of the subdivisions around this Walmart. 

Called and asked if ok to park overnight. Were told no overnighting. Looks like a nice place tho. 

There are other good places to eat nearby now icluding a James Beard award winning tamale shop across the street. There is a self service rv wash and dump station  nearby at the Shell station at 72nd and Tieton Dr. Also a library with Internet is nearby on 72nd and more restsurants.

Plenty of other rigs and easily the quietest Walmart I've ever stayed at. 

Nice quiet location. Parked by garden center. Always try to park as far from front door and stay out of the way. It’s a private business not a campgrounds 

Huge parking lot and only a few overnighters. Pretty quiet after it closed. NOT the Walmart near interstate..it's out in the "burbs". Only food option nearby was Panda Express.

Asked the manager whether it was ok to spend one night. Response was a pleasant "no problem". There were a total of 3 Tv's and 2 semi's. Of course, we spent our usual $50 restocking our supplies. Great spot.

Overnight parking ok, very quiet, huge park

Very nice spot we stayed two night and explored Yakima cool city. At the time we stayed there was a car was being built right by the Walmart and we parked on the dirt pad where it was being built. Didn't call security but there was very many other rigs in the lot for the night and the Walmart closes at 12pm no one bothered us and there's a nice coffee hut nearby for the morning. One of the best walmarts I've stayed at.

Called ahead and was told to park away from the store. Newly renovated center. Lots of parking, huge store for shopping. We parked in the back part if the lot by lawn & garden. Nice side area with grass so we could sit out for a while in the early evening. Felt very safe, there were several other rigs over night as well. Quite except for the parking lot cleaning around 1 am. But slept. Level parking, don't pit your Jacks down our of respect for others and Walmart. Only put our bedroom slide out. Several TV stations came in with the generator.
