Lake Darling State Park

Nice clean campground. Showers are clean and campground is nice and well maintained. Rates have increased to 14 non-electric sites. 20 dollars for electric only sites and 26 for full hookups. 

 Bathrooms were very clean, parks well maintained also. Little  sad you cant adjust the temp of the shower as the water was hot on a very hot day.We used a full hook up station during our stay. Host  and DNR were very helpful and kind. Definitely will be returning 

This is our 2nd stay here.  We stayed last year when we had a class C.  Now we're in a class A.  The site we booked online  said it would accommodate our 31 ft. RV, but it was not suitable at all (site 34).  The DNR staff saw our problem and came to the rescue right away!  He offered us another site, which was very nice (both the site and the DNR officer)!  The prime spots are on the lakefront and very beautiful.  The paved roads are great.  They have an ADA fishing walk that runs along the lake, too.  We've not tried their cabins, but those look nice.  They're closed currently due to Covid.  The boat ramp is close to the campground,  too.  We ended up in site 53.

Camping right on the lake! Very clean! Nice paved roads! Gravel pads are fairly level. Nice fire rings with grill! My new favorite place around! Camped 3/28/17 just us and one other camper there. Loved it!

DMR staff were exceptionally nice. Bathhouses were clean. Really liked the can recycler that put the money back into the park. Every one should have that. Lake was gorgeous and will only get better. Awesome fishing access for all. The dump station could use a little more room
