iCamp Green River

There's potential for a very nice, fairly large RV Park on this property but not it's a particularly attractive place to stay for more than a night or two.  Looks like it might have been a KOA at some point.  Swimming pool was filled in and the store/office was closed.  Restrooms/Showers were clean but coded door lock on the men's room was non-functional.   Terrible WiFi.
It turns out there's a State Park across the street with grassy sites that look a lot more inviting.   Best thing: our site was level and the utilities worked fine and it was far from any other occupied site. 
We got there around 5:00 p.m. and had a phone call from someone who worked there telling us which site to take.  Our site did not have sewer but there was a dump station.  Nobody seemed to be working there when we left in the morning.

The good. Pretty good wifi. Great restrooms with showers. Great laundry room with FREE washers and dryers.
The bad. Bare dirt campground with gravel sites. Most electric posts were low to the ground. The office was usually closed, but there was a phone #. They would answer or would return your call. The people were nice and refunded us $15(we didn't ask for that or expect it) because of a problem at our site. We did ok for 2 nights. July is too hot to camp here in this desert. Cools off about midnight and is comfortable until about 10 am; after that, blazing hot until way after dark. With tax about $50 a night.

I agree with earlier comment. Good for a nights stay then time to be down road. They may advertise Wi-Fi but it is so week of power it does not stay connected. But again one night then down the road we go.

Good, no frills campground. Clean bath house, warm showers, big/flat site, quiet at night, near a few local  restaurants, view of Green River down the road at the John Wesley Powell RIver Museum. Friendly Icamp  staff, we didn't use laundry room or dog area.

It is mostly gravel & dirt, but hey RV'ers -Utah is a desert 🏜

This is a great Rv park. Owners very nice, lots level, trains only late evening. Full hook ups. Close to state park which has no sewer hookup. Prices are better considering sewer hookups. Very quiet and serene. Will definitely stop here again.  Dirt sites but not a problem.  Good Sam discount 

This campground is very run down.  It does not look like the pictures from 2019.  Staff was nice, but the state park across the street is a better choice.   Ok for an overnight 

Being renovated. Adequate place to stay, but pricey.  

This is a good “no frills” campground, perfect for an overnight stay. I was happy to not have to pay for pools or putt putt golf, which I wouldn’t have used. The sites are level with full hookups. The restroom is a little bit older but perfectly maintained and in the process of being remodeled (showers were newly tiled). What really sets this campground apart, is the owner Steve. I actually left something behind when I checked out and Steve was nice enough to ship it to me.

Not beautiful and needs work, but with our discount, we only paid $125 for a week! At that price, I felt we got what we paid for... full hook ups and decent location to sight see. Loved it! If the RV park itself is the destination, I would probably pay a little more to go somewhere else though. We ended up staying another 3 nights and were charged the same as for the previous week ($125) even though it was for 4 days less. I felt that was a bit high considering Green River State Park charges about that much, is just across the street, and seems to be well maintained and pretty... it actually could be the destination.

We came to see the sights in Moab and they were booked solid. We headed on down the road to Green River and saw this place on the RV Parky app. The owner bought this old rv park in January and is slowly bringing it back to life. The grass is a little overgrown but he was working on it when we left. We do not care for crowds so this place was perfect. Full hook ups and very nice owner. I would definitely stay here again. It is a nice half way point between several national and state parks. 

We looked at this park in April of 2019.  The only reason to stay here would be if NOTHING else was available.  It is basically a dirt/gravel parking lot.with overgrown grass and weeds.

This is likely the worst campground I will ever see.  It appears to be a field with a few roads and utility pedestals.  They advertise wifi but it is marginal at best and we could not get connected.  It is mostly dirt with a little gravel and if it rains, you could get stuck.  We watched two RVs get stuck.  My advice is just keep moving or go elsewhere.

Owner very helpful! Working hard to rebuild a neglected park. Several large pull through sites with new electric, water, and sewer hook ups. Easy access.
Minimal landscaping. Good Sam's discount.

  A little pricey. We stayed here for a week. Owner is super nice and helpful. Went to Arches national park and Canyon Lands about a hour away. Would stay here again 

The grounds are not well maintained,  a little disappointed after reading other reviews. Would probably stay in the state park down the road if in this area again.

A great work in progress. The new owner is working very hard to get it fixed back up. Very nice and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again! 

Great place to stay for a month..Great monthly fee and owners r hard at work improving there little hidden gem by the hour.  thanks RuthAnne...we will be back

The lady that checked in was pleasant. The office looked like they were getting ready for a flea market. The campground was almost empty but clean. Level gravel spots. The showers and bathrooms were really run down with some toilets out of service. The train tracks are right next to the park with several trains going by. The place needs fixed up. 

The owners are putting effort into renovation.  Sites ate level with space.   Over air TV is good.   WIFI works well.  Verizon service is good.   Owners friendly.   This will be a nice place when renovations are done!  About $28/nite with military discount.

Sure it is a tired place.  It the 'new kid's is working hard on improvements. Sites are level most with gravel and many are shaded. New bathrooms ( breaking ground tomorrow) and all sites full hookup for 30. Yes there is a train... we counted three all before 9:00.. not real loud & probably the same thing at the state camp ground   great showers with plenty of bot water. Good Verizon coverage too 

Lady was nice when we checked in, but that's about all I can say nice about this place.  It's in need of upgrading, at least asphalt drive and site areas.  It rained off and on the whole time we were here and it wasn't even 24hrs and we kept sinking into the sand base of the site. There is a train very close too.  Very little grass. Won't be staying here again.  

We were only here one night but staff was very cooperative.  Very big rig friendly but shade trees were available.  Very nice large pull thru spots.  Lots of work has been done to improve the property & lots more scheduled.

We spent a nice evening here. It's very quiet and surrounded by trees and country pastures, even some horses in pastures. We got here early enough to request a nice shady spot under big trees. The owners are pleasant and helpful.it looks like they've purchased an old KOA camp so I hope they can make a go of it.  it's just beyond the state park where there are also a lot of shady looking spots. Either place looked great to us but we wanted to give the new " kids" a chance . we like to encourage and support young people trying to make a living.  We had full hookups for $20.   This would be a good place to have bikes as it is flat and one could explore a bit. 

This park was recently taken over, about a month ago.  Sites are level, $20 for electricity, water, and sewer, wifi.  Grass is starting to grow.  Management is friendly.

The appearance fron the road is deceiving.  It is an older park but clean and well maintained. Showers were great. Laundry inexpensive. And at only $20 for water and electric we were very pleased. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
