Diamond Lake County Park

We needed a place to get some sleep and we came across this place. From what I saw, it looked like all electric spots had waterview. We did have issues with leveling. Stays open for the winter but as expected the water was off. Very peaceful. I think we were the only ones there. No reservations, first come basis. Arrived around 930p, found a spot, filled out envelope and dropped with  money in the drop box. Will stay again for sure!

Beautifully kept county park. Peaceful. Many sites slope quite a bit. Bath houses are very nice. Firewood was reasonably priced. Playground looked nice. Would definitely stay again! 

Next to a lake. Clean bathrooms, electric for $20.  Water to fill tanks and dump.  Can't beat it.  Self serve off the road a bit but worth it!

Absolutely beautiful spot and so peaceful pretty much empty. About 9 miles off I80 but so worth it $20 with elec. $10 without has nice clean restrooms with showers, water and dumps.

Large RV park, many sites, 30- & 50-amp power, well maintained 

We parked our 37ft 5r on the upper campground in the only pull through site and the view was pretty great. Wished we could have stayed for longer. Peaceful and beautiful. Imagine that a 30ft trailer/5r/MH would be much easier to maneuver than ours was. We tried the lower (by the registration) but the gravel was too soft for comfort.  Camp Host was evident but never crossed paths. Access from the highway is straight forward. Bath/Shower were locked during our stay, but outside appeared well cared for.  Electric. DumpStation. Water spout at every other site, not direct hookup. 

FOR I 80 TRAVELERS ITS PERFECT.

Traveling during the winter months is a challenge and to find this park via RVPARKY was great.
As long as the park's roads are not snow covered they are open.
Sites are gravel and level, RV sites are on a knoll above the lake.
