Bear River Information Center

For this review, I'm combining the visitor center and park, as they're connected. The property is clean and well maintained. The lots were clean, well maintained, well lit and fairly level. Visitor center has the nature display and the live animals are right outside. Playground features at both locations and hiking/biking trails throughout. Bathrooms are located about the property but closed for winter, (visitor center Bathrooms remain open). Picnic tables and grills at both locations. RV dump station is located at the visitor center. This is a fee free property but donations are requested. I had 3 bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming, 3 bars of park wifi and 6 OTA television channels from my visitor center location. As always, I left my area cleaner than when I arrived and thanks to the state of Wyoming for allowing me to overnight. 

Great stop for the day and even for overnight. Two dump stations.  Fee per donation of your choice.  Potable and non potable water.  Longer spots to overnight just before the dump station.  The state park is no fee and a nice way to spend the day. Bike trails were great.  Also resident bison and elk at the park.  The visitors center is also full of great info.  

It did say on overnight, but we rolled in after midnight, and no one bothered us.  They have a dump station and fresh water.  It's really clean and quiet.  Really cute diner around the corner.  Highly recommend this stop.

On our way to Idaho, stayed overnight here once again and such a nice place.  We hiked the trail - buffalo and elk roamed the fields - beautiful state park and gift shop is always nice 

Taxidermy animals, free dump station. RV overnight....no tent camping.

Stayed here overnight - other campers on the lot but very quiet and enjoyed the animals.  Gift shop was open and very informational - lots of showcase animals. Great place 

I had planned on staying here but it was too cold to boondock. The museum is nice, lots of native animals to view. Great place to grab information on WY travel.
I walked out to the Bison viewing area, the kids would love it.
Information staff was super friendly. I did not need to dump but watched rigs pull in frequently, nice set up.

Stopped here for the night. 
There were about 10 cars total staying overnight. Sign said no semi-truck parking. Very quiet, restrooms were amazingly clean. Visitor center and walking trails were nice. Bear River State Park is just down the road.

Beside the visitor center is a park with walking paths. Absolutely beautiful in early September. Great place to get out and get air. 

A tiny off leash area, a little slide for kids, clean bathrooms with running water, some RV parking, dump stations.  Good place for lunch.  A little tricky to get on and off interstate, but not too bad.

Stopped to use the dump station. They have potable water too. Signs saying no overnight parking

You cannot park here overnight.
