Fort Bridger RV Camp

Host was very nice- escorted us to campsite- grass sites- very well kept- quiet- walked to Fort Bridger - you get your own bathroom/shower- very very nice- clean- would definitely stay again!!!

Quiet, clean, grassy sites.  Great hosts.  Clean individual restrooms with showers.  Nice laundry area.  Would recommend.

Very nice RV park.  Quiet, dark at night, peaceful. Clean restrooms, showers, and laundry. Short walk to Fort Bridger. I’d definitely stay here again. 

Nothing fancy, just absolutely beautiful!  We would stay here again without a doubt.  Great for an overnighter.   Peaceful.

We've stayed here three times now, and each time it gets cleaner and more spruced up. Nice wide grassy spots, full hook-up, Good Sam or military discount. They do get electrical storms, so I hope you have a surge protector. Laundry uses quarters. Quiet country setting. Easy on and off. 

Close to historic Fort. High density of spaces, no shade, but less than 50% occupancy week before Memorial Day.  Clean bathrooms and showers.

Loved every moment of our stay! Easy check in, and an escort to our site. So peaceful, calm, and beautiful! This place is number one on our list of the places we've stayed at so far!!! And the bathrooms?!?! A dream!

Pulled in about 6:00, paid $45 for a great pull-through spot, full hook-up. Huge trees line the road. Clean shower, bathroom laundry facilities. Wonderfully quiet. Didn't get to tour Fort Bridger as they were closed. Sweet respite for weary travelers. Will plan to stay again! 

Be sure to call way in advance if you plan to stay here.  We were traveling in the area and called but could only leave a message and didn’t get a return call in time so we continued on to another place.

Really simple.  Really clean.  Really quiet.  Really nice owners.  Close to the interstate, but far enough off that there is no noise.  Sites are not fancy or paved, but they are pretty flat.  I would come back for sure.

 If you’re used to paved pull thru’s with manicured turf or decorative rock aprons, this park will give you second thoughts.  If you’re used to primitive sites where you’re rig just might get stuck if it rains, you’ll likely feel more at home.  Now hybridize the 2 & add full hookups.  Crusty old dude escorts you (he walks) to what are innovative pull thru’s.  When a fellow RV’er plugged in, it immediately blew out power to most of the park.  That crusty (read interesting) character was immediately on it.  An electrician arrived in no time & all was good.  Without unhooking, I was able to level our fifth wheel just enough.  This was a very different site experience for us, but I loved it.  We’ll return, but not in hot or wet weather.

Dog loved the grass. Sites a bit damp and spongy for big MH due to all the watering. WiFi strong. Cable-minimal signal. 50amp good. Bathrooms clean if you need them. Kind of pricey for middle of nowhere.

Wish we could have stayed longer because this was the most relaxing stop of our trip.  Shawn the owner is the most pleasant and accommodating host of all our travels.  It's not a large RV camp with a lot of amenities but that's what made it so relaxing and quiet.  Hopefully we will pass though here again soon.

We kinda stumbled upon this place by accident, but loved it.  Sites are plenty big, and grassy.  Some do not have shade, but this time of year that's not really needed.  Very nice young lady that checked us in and parked us.  Bathrooms are best we have seen in a long time.  There are 4 lockable rooms that include shower, sink, and toilet.  Nice laundry area too.  Everything was very clean.  Nearby Bridger State Park is a great place to stroll around after a long day of driving.  At $40 for a 30 amp site it was a bit pricey, but we would definitely stay here again.

Large grassy sites. Impeccably maintained. Super clean bathrooms.

Fort Bridger, WY - Fort Bridger RV Camp. Very nice, quiet, small campground right next to the state historical park and museum. The owners, Dee and Shawn, have been very helpful and have given us advice on where to go to see interesting history and geology. The campground has 38 sites; some are back in and mostly used for seasonal campers and a couple long term renters. The rest are pull through or pull in/back in sites. All are level, on grass, and are FHUs. Some sites have more shade than others, but the temperatures are mild and humidity levels are low! The sites are long and have plenty of spacing in between. We have a huge long pull through site. Dee spends a lot of time watering the grass! Right now, the wifi service company is adding fiber optics, so this week it isn’t working as well, but it should be great in the future. ATT works well, but Verizon is weak. There is cable here with some stations; we used our portable Dish with no issues. The campground fills up with overnighters almost every night. The campground offers Good Sam rates as well as weekly and monthly rates. We’ve been here a week; we are already are thinking about returning next Labor Day weekend for the Fort Bridger rendezvous.

This was a great overnight stop. Nice and quiet. The bathrooms were super nice. 

Called and made a reservations for one night.  Called back and changed it to 2.  No hassles.  Very pleasant older lady checked us in. Walked us to our spot. Clean and flat. Full hook up.  She explained that the cable is there but probably won't work.  She was right.  Laundry shares the bath house.  A couple washer and dryers.  A nice collection of books. Each bathroom (that is what they were) had its own shower shower. They were very clean.  I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Large grassy spots.  4th time staying, don’t have to unhook tow car.

Called to make a reservation based on our travel and left a message. She retuned me call and left a message saying we were good to go. Arrived before 1800. Backed into a grassy spot close to the office with our 31ft trailer. Cows came to visit at the back fence. Owners very business like. Nice clean facilities: bathrooms, showers, laundry.

Wonderful spot near the interstate. Quiet.  Bathrooms/showers clean clean clean!!!  So nice to be able to walk thru Bridger park which was close by and really interesting!

Clean park, way to expensive, really nice bathrooms. The Boss Man chewed my wife out for driving across the grass 5 minutes after he guided a travel trailer thru there. Very rude. Museum next door was nice, but there was nothing else out there. Will keep on driving next time.

Can't wait to explore the State Park next door in the morning; but for now, we'll cook a bite to eat and enjoy the quiet, starry evening...

We didnt actually stop here because whoever they had answering the phones was rude. Told us we better be in before nine because "We dont let people park themselves".

The owners are really nice. The sites have really nice grass that they take very good care of. Big open sites.

The only drawback was the 
Cable TV was fuzzy. No big deal as the sites more than make up for it.

This is an older park.  There's not a lot of concrete, but what there is, is crumbling.  The entrance road is gravel/dirt and pretty bumpy.  Sites are pull-through if nobody is in the spot opposite you.  All services worked fine.  Dogs are to be walked along the fences -- watch out for cows on the other side of said fences, though!  The "Cash Store" up by the road has general provisions and is a great liquor store -- try the jalpeno bacon vodka (and doesn't just take cash; if they are a check cashing place, they don't really advertise it).  

Not bad for overnight stay. Level grass site. Grounds kind of reminded me of a cow pasture but satisfactory if just looking for a place to park for the night. The individual bathrooms were nice. 4 full bathrooms off of a common foyer area. Fairly clean and plenty of hot water. 

I rated this mainly on the bathrooms, in months of travel this campgrounds 4 separate bathrooms reminded of what it's like to have your own bathroom. I'm sick of cold or push button or pay showers with little or no privacy. I usually resort to the small one in the in the RV.
Also the host was friendly, the pull thru's were long and there was plenty of room between sites. $36 with a discount for cash

If you can't find address on your navigator use Evanston  instead of Fort Bridget.  Nice quiet camp. Very clean showers with individual shower and bathroom. Owners were very pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend 😊

This was a stop for overnight and didn't disappoint.  Staff was very friendly.  Arrived after hours and manager came out to check us in and help us park.  Restrooms and showers were spotless.  Big rig friendly with full hookups and cable TV.  WiFi was a little slow but free.  Rate was a little steep for overnight but would stay here again.

Based on the 2 previous reviews, we decided to stay here.  Those reviews were spot on!  One night, Good Sam,  cash price is $36.  Credit card payments are more.  Would definitely stay here again.

Needed a place for the night. This fit the bill perfectly. Big pull through sites with full hook-up, cable & strong wifi. Bathrooms were really nice in that there were 4 full bathrooms. Would stay there again.

Easy to find, nice level full hookup pull through site - reasonably priced ($32). Friendly staff.  Bathroom/showers clean.  Elec, water, & sewer connections all top notch though.  Would definitely stay again!

It was hard to find the place without GPS cause we have Sprint and there were no street and Fort Bridger RV camp  signs, I believe. 

We stayed only one night.
The site has full hook up. It was easy to pull through and level!  They offer free WiFi.

Next to the camp was Historic Museum. We didn't have time to visit. It is about the out post established in 1842 by Jim Bridger and Louis Vasquez.  It was vital resupply point for wagon trains on the Oregon, California, and Mormon trails. 

There some history here this small town! We also found the old Blacksmith building and the old wagons in the neighborhood. 

The camp host was very nice!
