Wichita Walmart Supercenter

This is a no go. They have an additional Walmart lot in front of the store that is on the other side of the entry street. It is where RVs and trucks would park. They blocked off all the entrances and put up signs saying it is Walmart property and "No Overnight Parking." However, this location has a great T-Mobile signal and lot trash cans.

Does NOT allow RV overnight parking

If all the big rigs can park just on the east side of Wal-Mart in front of the furniture store so can we. Matter of fact. I have stayed right next to the Wal-Mart parking lot several times and not once been asked to leave or told no. Then again, I have never asked Wal-Mart. So go a head, tired? I say park. Just don't go poppin out the slides and grillin burgers and you will be fine. Happy trails. 🍻🤘

Spent the night without incident.  In the morning asked Customer  Service if they allowed overnight RV parking. Was told no, and that no other Wichita Walmart does either.

07.10.19. Security told us that there is no RV Overnight parking here. He said to go to Ashley Furniture next door, but they have signs posted with NO RV parking.

I stayed on a Saturday night.  People where driving back and forth with their stereos thumping.  I heard gunshots in the distance and sirens all night.  The lot was full of 18 wheelers when I arrived, so it was difficult to maneuver around the parking lot and find space.

My remark about the area was meant to describe the area as a mall type where there are with lots of stores, not that the area is dangerous. We got a great space in the left next to a grass strip (for the dog). When the sun went  down the whole place was very quiet, the only noise came at about 1 in the morning when the lot sweeper came in for  about 20 minutes and cleaned the lot. Otherwise a great stop.
