Wasatch Mountain State Park

Only stayed 1 night, but this is a beautiful state park in Utah.  Was a little difficult to find, but we figured it out.  It has full hookups.  Would definitely stay here again.  

Baths clean. Everything well taken care of.
I came here to scout the area and make sure I liked it all before bringing my wife and trailer.

We had a level site with full h/u, but we saw several smaller sites on a slope. Bathrooms immaculate. Drive into the campground was on a narrow old black topped road. Don’t miss out on visiting the 100 year old Heber Valley dairy farm - great cheese and ice cream. 

Beautiful park site, the roads are tight and some sites seem rough to navigate; but we loved the site.  Our was site 68.   It took us a while to find the location because there are so many different addresses listed and you are driving among homes. Bathrooms where clean and park crew was very pleasant.

Such a great find. We had site MG74. One of the best in that loop for sure. Very secluded feeling. Sites can be tight for bigger rigs but our 32 ft TT did fine in that one. The surrounding town is super cute and lots of conveniences near by. Only thing I didn’t like was that the gate closes between 10pm-8am and you can’t get in after hours (the exit is open 24hrs)

Enjoyed our time here.  For our 35-foot class A, the spots were limited.  Also the management of the availability seemed disorganized and we had to move a couple times (mostly because we wanted to be closer to the rest of our party, but figuring out what was available was ridiculously difficult.). Otherwise the campground was clean and we'll maintained.  And the staff were very helpful.  The phone signal was weak to non- existent.

Our site had a breathtaking view of the valley, snow capped mountains, and a lake off in the distance. The camp hosts and rangers were soooo helpful and proud of their park.  When choosing a site make sure you get one large enough for your rig; there are some VERY SMALL ones that would have been absolutely impossible to maneuver into.  One other tip, if booking online, check carefully the number of amps for the site.  They have some 20 amp sites.  We would definitely go back.  We stayed in a 5th wheel.
