Sidney Walmart Supercenter

Found a spot quickly.  Was quiet easy access.  Great place to stop.

Grateful Walmart lets us stay overnight. Called ahead and they said absolutely.  Be prepared to navigate around the semi trucks as this is an overnight haven for them as well.  

Stayed here 6/22/23. Lots of trucks - more than we have seen at any other Walmart. It all worked. The trucks mostly stayed together and we found a quiet spot along with another RV towards the right side of the lot (facing Walmart). shopped at WM to show my appreciation.

Was a really nice place, backed in with the other RVs. Had a refer truck wedge in and ran all night. Would stop over again, just remember to bring ear plugs.

There were several RV and many semis.   This is the first major stop heading west on I-80 which is why it is popular.  Thankful Walmart let’s us stay for the night. 

Nice and private area for RVs and there were plenty around on a Friday night. However, Walmart was playing music out the speakers so loud for some reason and it was a bit annoying. Lots of action throughout the night too. 
But so many others in RVs would go in to shop and just leave their carts without putting them back. Quit being jerks and don’t ruin Walmart for the rest of us!!

Pulled off the freeway at about 11:30 pm. Everything at this exit was packed. Couldn’t find a spot at Cabelas so we made it over to Walmart. The hum of the trucks was like white noise. We actually got a decent nights sleep. 

the lot is huge... 3 main sections by my count: directly in front of store (for customers) to the left (lots of trucks), and to the right (near garden center) which was empty when we arrived, a few other RVs joined, as well as a handful of trucks coming and going throughout the night.

the grass and lot left a bit to be desired (glass, and overflowing garbage) but overall we had a fairly quiet night... even with the "natural night light" of the overhead streetlights!

We had no trouble staying here. We were the only trailer but there was dozens of trucks. Yes they ran their trucks all night but that doesnt bother me & is expected when you park with truckers. 

We’ve been to this Walmart a bunch of times during our travels, but this was the first time with our RV. The parking lot is huge and is popular with truckers who usually stay to the left when you face the building. Most of the RVs stay to the right side, near the garden center. Went to dinner at Margarita’s (over the small hill, you can walk to get there). Great stop for the night!

But the comings and goings didn’t bother us. We are used to train and truck noise. And our motorhome is well insulated. There were always at least 20 trucks throughout the parking lot. Most drivers were stocking up on items for their travels. There are restaurants within easy walking distance. 

Did anybody mention trucks? I counted forty. Still it was OK. We found a corner of the lot that was away from most of them. Thats why God invented ear plugs.

And when I mean full I mean the whole parking lot was completely full of semi trucks. It would have been way to loud for us to sleep. It's a shame there isn't truck stops in this town. I have a feeling Walmart will end up not letting overnight parking be allowed eventually. We went over to Cabelas and their free parking lot was also full of semis so we got the 2nd to last spot in the cabelas campground. Only $18 for electric hookups. 

We got in late. Many trucks and RVs. Found a spot near docks. There was some activity but earplugs did the trick!

We have spent serval nights here but just one night at a time. We have family in Sidney so it’s very convenient. No problems ever. Rather noisy if a truck pulls in next to you.

Really small, quiet town. Lots of trucks and other campers because this is probably the only spot for 70 miles with the rest stop closed. Still, lots of space, easy in/out. 

Yes there were A lot of trucks but plenty of room

The only town for miles, the RV park and every parking lot gets pretty full.
