Missouri Valley City Campground

This is a small, clean, and safe city campground. It's nestled in a quiet neighborhood. There were about 15 electric hookups that I could see. Water was shut off for the winter months. We stayed here overnight, and it was a nice night's rest before traveling again in the morning. There are envelopes for the payment at the corner entrance. Park along the white fence. Train passes often but didn't bother us. 

Nice, clean city park with electric & some water hookups. Parking along the fence (pull thru) or back in along the road. Do NOT go down the dead end area of the park. There is no turnaround & you'll be stuck if you can't back up (ask me how  I know). We didn't use thr rest room & I'm not sure if there are showers. There is a nice water park, unsure of cost. There seems to be some that have been there a while.
I should have taken a picture of the area to pay, but I forgot. Very well lit at night for dog walking or just enjoying the quiet.

Nice little city park with ability to accommodate our 40’ rig. Close to interstate and easy to find. We had water and electricity hook ups for $15. It’s first come first serve so we felt lucky to grab a spot on a Saturday night.  There is a train that goes by periodically so you will need to prepare for a bit of noise from that.   

Great city park next to the fairgrounds. Bathrooms were not open. Grassy area or park next to the road. Elec and water with a dump station. Train tracks near by. Well worth $15   Tent camping is $5

Very nice city park. 50/30 amp electric at each site. Water every 3rd site or so. Bring an extra 25ft of hose. Dump station in the park. Lots of green area in the park. Super nice dog park 2 blocks away. Self service honor system drop box for 15$ camping fee per night. Expect train noise as the tracks are on one side of the park. They seem to run every hour or so during the day, every 30 minutes from 7-9pm and 3-4 times from 10p to daybreak. 
City employee told me they turn off water in the winter, mid Oct to Late March but electrical is on year round. There is a common water spigot near the dump that has potable drinking water that can be used in the winter for fresh water tank. 

Nice park in the city at the fairgrounds. It had both electric and water hook-ups! 
Only negatives: restrooms were not open late at night, nor in the late morning (when the posted sign said they'd be open early morning).
The driveway to some of the campsites was a dead end, making it difficult to turn around a big RV in order to get out. 

Nice city park.  Sites are parallel to a big square grassy park.  30 and 50 amp hookups.  Small train next door that’s kids (and adults) can ride.  Fresh water available, and bathrooms.  Downside…next to train tracks…not occasional trains, trains ran all night long.  

So this is a fee free dump station at the city park. It's located east of the campground next to the tourist train ride depot. The area was level and easily accessible for any size rig. The black tank flush water hose had been removed and was inoperative. No fresh water available at the dump area.
