Stokes-Thomas Lake City Park & Campground

There’s a festival this weekend. Wish it would have been posted here. 

Required 2 night stay over weekend. Great during week for one night stay. 

Beautiful park and well maintained. Lakefront site was worth the additional $5.  Very pleasant until the stock car race began.  We didn’t realize there was a race track next door. Lol. Just check the schedule beforehand unless you enjoy VROOM VROOM!  Would stay here again.  

Great City Park, very well maintained, spacious sites, nice view of the lake. Bathroom/ shower areas were nice and clean. 
Only downfalls were no sewer on backin sites and some sites were a little in level for larger rigs. 
Stayed in a 40’ Class A Motorhome. 
Definitely would stay again.

This campground was amazing. It is right on a beautiful lake. The bathrooms and showers are clean. We enjoyed our visit. 

 Right on Lake Kampeska. Quiet. Clean. Great space between sites. Restrooms and showers were clean. Hot water! Playground for kids. We chose a pull-thru site but the back ins were easy to access due to wide roads. Sites all appear level and large. Nice job creating a friendly affordable spot for RVers! 

Beautiful park.  RV site spacious and well maintained with a few right by the lake..  Lots for the kids to do!  Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the fact that the Racetrack is right next to it.  Sunday night stay was very loud from start of race at 6:30 till about 11 PM.  Really took away from how nice this place is 😞

Quiet, clean, peaceful campground on the water.  East camping area has many mature shade trees. East camping area is more open. Both spacious. 

Were nice place. Very quite and tranquil. Sadly I had only a night to stay. Park is first come first serve. Drive in pick spot call office and pay over the phone.

We stayed over a week. Baths were newly opened from Covid scare. Very clean and maintained. Park hosts were very nice. You do have to follow rules regarding number of vehicles at campsite and no parking on grass. Totally understandable. Bad weather came in and hosts came to give us a warning. 

Stayed at the campground for two nights.  Arrived on Labor Day weekend and there were a few sites still available.  Nice friendly hosts, clean sower facilities with some sites overlooking the lake.  There are a few pull through full hook-up sites , most are electric and water.  There are mosquitos in the warmer months.  We enjoyed our time there.

Great place for a family stop! Very clean and shaded. Lake for a quick swim and playground for the kids. I would recommend a stop here.
