North Beach Campground

Nice park. Clean , short walk to the beach, friendly staff. Short drive from town. Cost us around 100.00 for two nights. Neighbors were really close by, but we had great neighbors. 

Beach and bike path adjacent, grass overly long and overdue for a mowing, free wifi, overall meh. 

Sketchy people just off site living in the treed areas. Appear to be homeless or possible drug addicts. 

Lots of traffic in and out all night. Gate is closed on the entrance road but the exit road is not gated. People driving in and out using the exit road all night. 

Had people cutting through my site, no etiquette. 

Up all night due to constant activity. First time not feeling safe and I remote boondock. 

Nice city park with a short walk to the Lake Champlain Beach.  The Burlington Greenway bike path passes through the park. This bike path is in great condition so bring along the bikes. The path has wonderful views of the lake.  A  small conservation area next door is a nice place to hike. There is water access so bring the kayaks too.  Burlington offers plenty of places to eat, museums and thing to do, Sites are under tree canopy but there is little screening between sites.  Since we booked late, our choice of sites was limited to those with trees and stumps to maneuver around, definitely not the best sites (avoid 79, 63, 64).  The roads to our site were rutted so be careful driving in. Maybe because its the end of the season?  While in the open I would recommend site 16 through 7 as where I would camp next time.  The site was surface was grass and needed about 2 - 3 inches of leveling.  30 amp power and water was good at site.  Some sites did pool water after a heavy rain. 
Bath showers were warm and with plenty of pressure but could be cleaner, no benches and only one hook on the door. While there were only 3 men's shower stalls for the whole campground I never experienced a wait.   Staff were very accommodating when I asked for a different site because I couldn't maneuver around the trees with my small camper.  Dump station is easy to access and functional.   

Excellent location, treed lots,close to shops, restaurants, pubs, water activities, biking trail adjacent to campground and Lake Champlain adjacent to bike trail.  The showers were hot, clean, water pressure was amazing.  One draw back is no bench in shower to put your clothes on, hence the 4 star rating.  All in all I would be back and I would recommend this campground in a heartbeat.

Small city park on great beach. Make reservation little hard to get to but beach makes up for it. Wifi great shower great Burlington nice city.

We stayed in September, and the campground was fairly quiet, except for a high school track meet on a Saturday that ran through the campground roads.  There are many runners and people on bikes cutting through to get to the bike path or beach, but it didn't bother us.  We loved that we could park our motorhome and just use the bike path to get to town. The bathrooms were clean and our site was level enough. We loved Burlington and would definitely stay here again.

This is a small campground in middle of city. Its awkward hauling big trailers through middle of towns. Wi-fi was ok, however we arrived late after 6 and went out for dinner in town, we were not told that the gate in campground would be locked, had to go in park on wrong way road to get to our trailer 

Right on bike path. Clean and quiet. About 100 yards from the beach. This is a city park so there is no Good Sam. But that's fine. We paid $45 with full hookup. Our spot #8 had great wifi. Would stay again.

First, they definitely need SPEED BUMPS! The road is shared with the public beach and people speed through the campground. Next, is there anybody over the age of 20 working here? Site was clean, beach was clean. I don't love the city of Burlington and I am sure there are more peaceful campgrounds along the lake
