McPherson RV Ranch

44’ 5th wheel and no issues whatsoever. 
Nice clean simple park. Easy in/out. Owners are over the top nice. Lots of long term but they are well kept. FHU
There are 2 sections. We stayed in the one closest to road in. In morning pulled straight out & on our way. Back section appears to be for smaller RV’s. Pond on-site. Didn’t see the Horse Motel. They have a clubhouse, laundry, 2 shower/restroom combinations that are spacious. 
Could be a little cleaner but ok. Grounds are well kept. Sites are a little close but just fine. Have a strip of astroturf between the sites. Utilities sit on top this turf. No chance of mud!!! Everything else is well packed thick gravel. So well packed we didn’t use anything under our levelers. Stayed attached to truck this night with no length issues. 
Can see park from 135/18 southbound. Didn’t hear any traffic noise at all! We had a dog with us. No issues following the rules. Upon checkin we were told to pick up feces   !immediately! We found several piles across the road not picked up, where you are supposed to take your dog….
Would definitely stay here again if needed. 

Very clean, all gravel, level, immaculate and charming showers and restrooms with common areas.

There are 2 pages of "guidelines". It's nice, clean and quiet, but the fella that owns it can be a tool. You must keep your rv and vehicle clean, but "guidelines" say you can't use water from your hydrant to do it. They access you $50 if your dog poops and you don't pick it up. You give them you cellphone # and that's his way of notifying you that you've violated the "guidelines". I'm in my 50's, got a new luxury 5th wheel, drive a platinum f350 so I know I'm not an unruly heathen. Before I even pulled into my slot he let me know that he has 106 acres here and he doesn't need my money. I stayed for what I paid for, but he doesn't need my business any more than that.

Lori was very accommodating and bubbly. She shared a wonderful church time with us also. She is a great blessing. 

Great for overnight stop. I would rather stay here than the Love’s RV spots. Farther away from the traffic noise and you don’t have to listen to Semi’s coming and going all night! Very clean and safe. All level gravel with open space and a pond behind for dog walks.
You have to drive down the street and back over the freeway if you’re going north.

Overall it was fine for a quick overnight stop. Would not want to set up camp there for more than that. The people were very nice in the office. There was no soap in the bathrooms. No trees (so no shade) and it was all gravel. Again, perfectly fine for a quick overnight.

We’ve stayed here before and will be here again on our return leg in a couple of weeks. Really nice owner. Our site (#3) was nice and level with plenty of room between us and the neighbors. Can’t beat $35 for a FHU site in a nice park. Didn’t need to use the facilities. Be advised that our GPS tried to guide us to a spot two miles west of the park. Did it to us last year and tried to do it again today. Thankfully we already knew where the park was located. 

This is a nice park and wonderful people. The park is conveniently located close to restaurants and stores. We have stayed at this park numerous times passing through and will continue to stay here. They ARE pet friendly. Great hometown family that make you feel welcome and always pleasant and helpful. 

14 rules about your pet! “Pet droppings will result in a $50 fine”, “pets may not do their business on the rocks(which are everywhere!), or on the artificial grass (which is around the power & water, not in front of ur rv), your pet is to do their business in the grass adjacent to the campground, pets must not be left alone, no excessive barking, etc”.  We found this park to be dog tolerant, not friendly. When we called about availability for one night, the man simply asked if we would adhere to the pet rules.  Never mentioned 14 rules! I gave it three stars, but we won’t be back. 

Stayed here going & coming from Colorado.   Convenient to highway, McPherson has a lot of eating possibilities as well as Wal-Mart nearby.  Sites are gravel,  level, hookups easy, some space between sites.

We had to make a quick change in the first leg of our journey. I trusted previous reviews and called McPherson RV Ranch & Horse Motel. (No horses involved)
Jim answered the phone and was very polite and making our reservation one day in advance the easiest reservation I’ve ever made. We followed the directions that he texted to me. This is a must!  Simple and quick. We arrived and met Mrs. Jim. She was as polite and helpful as her husband.   The weather that day was about 105 with not a cloud in sight. We hooked up, got the A/C going.  Within 15 minutes the A/C stopped and our coach read no service.  My husband notified the office and within minutes a new breaker was installed on the pedestal. The lot was nice and level and we didn’t even have to unhook our pickup truck. We drive a 43’ class A. Will definitely stay again!

Easy access from interstate. Jim will text you exact directions. Far enough from highway you dont feel like your sleeping on it. Sites are long wide pull thrus so you dont have to unhitch. I guess if you have horses this is a plus here. We did call a week ahead and made a reservation. Good thing. Place was full.

Very nice owners. Pet friendly, great place to tire out the dogs. Poop bags provided. Big washers, shower facilities, dining hall, and kitchen area. We're right off I35, but you don't hear it. Shopping is off of Highway 56, just a couple of blocks away. I would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay Mr Jim was very accommodating. One thing though if you use GPS it will take you down pawne street or something like that don't take that route you will have to so 4.5 miles down a dirt road.  GO ONE EXIT UP and you will be ok. Great place 

Super friendly, clean, huge showers, quiet off the highway location. Would stay again.

Great place --- owners are very friendly and helpful.  Sights are gravel, but more level than most.  Good place to stay!
