Calvin's RV Camping

Needed a 50amp fhu site for a quick overnight  stop to visit Oz Museum. Site had excellent power, was clean, paved and level. Steve was super friendly and helpful. Small and simple. It even had a small laundry room. 

Very small park, but the owners were nice.  concrete parking and easy set up and quiet, just what I needed for an overnight!  Just minutes from town. Paid cash!!  now CC,  how rare.  

Very small park (9 sites), but nice for an overnight. Owners are nice. Cash or check only. Close to town and Oz muzeum. Americana at it's best. Found it relatively quiet, even thiugh next to Caterpillar factory and train tracks. 

This campground is beautiful!! Very nice people running it!!! We would recommend!

Park was nice. Cash or check no credit cards! Black walnut trees everywhere dropping walnuts! Near a Caterpillar factory so you get an early morning wake up if you sleep with windows open. Hosts are great people! Was having Rv mechanical issues and they had recommendations for mechanics. Dave came to the park hooked up the computer to my rv and told me what I needed to do. Stopped here for the OZ museum. Went to the Buffalo solider monument and the Beecher bible and rifle church. Never knew the Underground Railroad came this far! 

Spent the weekend at this great little RV park.  The hosts were very nice and the place has a lot of trees.  Did some laundry in the small but functional laundry.  It doesn't have a bath house, but didn't need one anyway.  It was full for the whole weekend and very quiet when the train was going by across the street.  Yup, there are trains, 2 or 3 a day, but none at night.  Would definitely stay again if attending Oztoborfest.    Bring cash, they do not accept credit cards.

First off, let me say that Wamego is an adorable area!  The Oz Museum, Oz Winery, just a beautiful All American little town.  Calvin's RV Park is a small,  quaint little RV Park with only 9 spots; literally in someone's front yard.  Full hookups, laundry, picnic tables, fire rings.  Ad says shower (in season?) but I didn't see a shower.  However, I would not stay again simply because the train literally feels like it is ON you!  The horn sounds,  the entire RV shakes.  It's not "in the distance". It is right outside your door.  If not for the train, we would have stayed a second night.  We paid $27; cash or check only.  Should be cheaper.
