Willard Bay State Park - Willow Creek Campground

Traveling from AZ to WA we booked a pull- through site with full hookups that was huge and semi-private, in late April. The picnic table was covered! Lots of grassy area for our dog. Beautiful beaches and walking/bike trails. The sunsets and sunrises are spectacular! Loved it so much we stayed 2 more nights!

Maybe not knowing the area all parks might be near the interstate. But the traffic noise was crazy. 2 stars might be to much as Utah should be ashamed of this park. Weeds and grass were a foot high. Didn’t seem like they really cleaned anything camp sites, showers and restrooms. Would stay at the Flying J for free if I had to. 

Where we stayed with electric it was hot , buggy and not green. We walked the rest of the park and there were some sweet spots right on the bay which isn't very pretty but it's water. Larger, greener and nicer the farther toward the bay with no electric. 

Nicely maintained. Quiet at this time of year. Only downsize noted is the constant freeway noise. Still recommend it.

Will norepeat that mistake this year! stayed here April 2018. Way nicer county parks on this route. Nice area but this park sucked. Tight spots, no amenities, won’t let youchevk in until late in the day,even though park was empty !

We stayed at the willow creek campground for our first outting in our new coach. Pros: nice secluded sites, great view of the water from our site. No bugs this time of year (end of October), fire pit, picnic table and quiet. Cons: I think we overpaid, ($50 a night) . And a lot of stray cats that seemed to surround our campsite at night when we were by the firepit. Even with our 2 dogs , the cats still came within 10-15 feet of us.  

We arrived late. 40$ for full hookup site was paid  at entrance of park. Very nice place. Close to beach. 

Always looking for cheap State Parks when I travel. Read that someone paid $20 a night for hookups and decided to check it out. The *actual* price in 2018 is $40 for full hookups (electric/water/sewage), $20 to dry camp. Pros: Facilities are great. Paved RV pads, some shade with extra tall trees, lota of space between sites, showers, clean bathrooms. Lots of pull through sites for larger rigs. Cons: Directly next to the freeway and the noise is loud, some sites are not level, you cannot see the lake from the campground, dumpsters are smelly if you end up next to one. 

One of our favorite stops.  Huge lake, a beach, each site has a pavilion, really nice sites that are mostly pull throughs and big rig friendly.

$20.00 bucks for full hook ups, big park on lake. Not sure if 20 is offseason price I'm
Here mid Oct., Some highway noise from the 15 but sure beats all the Walmart noise. Supplies close from a Pilot if you need anything. If you cruise this way check it out.
