Walmart provides a great store with ample parking to accomodate RVs. Many even allow travellers to park and catch a few hours of rest (depending on city ordinances). Please use common courtesy and follow these guidelines to ensure that they will continue to extend this courtesy to us.

Ask the store manager for permission to stay.
Do not stay for multiple days.
Leave it cleaner than you found it.
No grills, chairs, etc. Walmart is not a campground.
Buy your supplies, groceries, etc. in the stores.

“Slave Lake Walmart Rv Parking for 1 Night is OK.”

I just phoned the store and they said it is ok to park there for 1 night.  I asked if we would need to register and was told "no";  but, I think it would be a good idea to ask.

I thought I'd put an update here.  We did not stay there yet, but I called to do the research and wanted to share it.  Happy Travels!

Good place to o'nite with one exception.
Wear earplugs and avoid parking near a dark blue Mustang.
Has a VERY LOUD exhaust and might wake you up near midnight when driver leaves.
