Walmart Red Deer South Supercentre #3194

They can't say yes but on the south side no one will kick you out.

We have stayed overnight at this location after buying groceries on several occasions. Each time we’ve asked permission from the duty manager. There are a lot of new signs indicating no overnight parking. It could be a Red Deer ordinance. Unfortunate.

This location is NOT inside a mall but is the south Walmart store. The north store is part of a mall. Always rvs parked here during the summer. Ask first.

We didn't have internet as we were getting things working in the RV after crossing the border so we didn't know this was a no parking/sleeping Walmart. We stayed the night along with many other RVs and van/truck campers. We didn't have any issues, no one asked us to leave. We parked in the far right corner of the lot away from Walmart. 

We asked a store manager if it would be OK to spend the night by the garden center, their response was fine, we were welcomed to rest for one night. Quiet area not far off Rt. 2. Somewhat difficult to locate, it is inside a shopping center. Unfortunate that one vehicle appears to be a "squatter" with stuff scattered around a pickup camper. Otherwise, as quiet as a forest campground. BE SURE TO ASK FIRST!!!!
