Walmart Drumheller #1028

Nice place for Overnight.  4 others RV. 

Lots of vehicles 
Quiet 
Great overnight stop 
Store hours 8 am - 9 pm 

We stayed two night, returning after a day away exploring. Up agains the hills, it’s a quiet and rv friendly spot.

Endroit tranquille, parfait pour la nuit. Et une dum station au Canadien Tire qui est tout près. Super.

We stayed for a night. It was quiet, the lot is clean. No one was bugging us. So 5 Stars. It's a parking lot. 

Stayed here one Friday night in late May with 4 other campers. Quiet and no questions asked. 

This a perfect spot to stay while visiting the dinosaurs and all the other attraction they have here, and there are many.  The lot is very quite and large, but it’s very hilly so finding a level spot is difficult.  When talking the the walmart manager, she was unable to give permission even though there is a sign saying private property.  All she would say is “use at own risk”.  While in town visiting the attractions, I happen to park next to City Police car, and since he was there, I asked him about the city ordinance for overnight parking.  He said you won’t have any problems at walmart.  We had a very quite night.

Unfortunately it looks like someone abandoned a RV here (its been for sale last 4 months) and its causing issues for Walmart.  I hope when the RV gets removed, this location is not ruined for the rest of us.

Canicule en ce 1er août 2018! Il y a une affiche à l’entrée du stationnement qui indique propriété privée. J’ai donc demandé au commis et il m’a certifié que je pouvais dormir ici; maximum 3 nuits!! C’est plus qu’il m’en faut!! 

Vue incroyable, la route est tout près mais quand même un endroit tranquille 

As far Walmart's go, the area seems safe, it's pretty quiet, the view is nice.  This is not a supercenter, so they don't sell any fresh produce, nor do they have a deli counter with prepared foods, so plan accordingly.  There are no restaurants  within a reasonable walk.  The parking lot is very undulating, making it difficult to find a level spot.  The staff said the lot can be half full of campers in the summer, which beggs the question, why am I the first to write a review of it?
