Victorian Acres Campground

We arrived at the park at 5:02, the office was closed (fair enough, office is open until 5:00). The host sat on his golf cart offering no assistance as we passed by. We didn't understand the map layout and the map did not give us a site number. Wepulled into a 30 amp spot at first. Had to hook back up and find a 50 amp spot. I didn't like that the first thing we spotted while we were setting up was where someone failed to pick up after their dog on our site. 

East to make online reservations easy check in. Large flat spaces with large grass around sight. Large dog park. Playground. Nive and quiet. 

Nice long gravel site with full hook up.  Lots of channels on the antenna.  There is alot of green space which is nice.  Plenty of room between campers.  Easy access and very little road noise.  Victoria was great.  Called and told us what to do when we arrived since she was out of the office.

This park is so spacious with green grass, beautiful trees & a wonderful host. The streets & sites are wide; site is fairly level-good for Big Rigs. Easy on & off but didn't really hear any road noise. Utilities were placed well, 50 AMP solid. The host was so friendly and guided us to our site. We stayed in a 40 foot motorhome. Highly recommend this park.

This is a very well maintained rv park - sites, grounds, and amenities. We stayed in spot 89 which is ideal for someone with little kids. It is the closest spot to the awesome playground. 

Great hosts, gorgeous green lawns, clean laundry and nice sites. Highly recommend!

Second time we have stayed here.  Nice clean park with gravel pads.  There were apple trees directly across from our camp site that were loaded with apples!  Easy to get in and out of the park - very courteous hostess. 

We are Sr. RVers. We pull a 35ft travel trailer with our 250 crew cab pick up. We travel with no kids or pets. We had a level, pull-thru spot with full hook-ups - site #72. Right out in the hot sun, on gravel at 100°. Site was plenty long enough and wide enough. Some road noise, but not bad with AC running full blast. Entire area was a pretty, park like setting. We used the airconditioned laundry. It was nice and clean.
Lots to see and do in the area. Would stay here again.

Only stopped for one night. Office was already closed. Great after-hours instructions on the door and signs. Did on-line reservation and payment. All types were available. Rates varied depending on the type of site. Ours was full hookup pull thru 30smp. $44.00. Much better than the $45 dump we stayed in last night in Jonesburg, MO. 

Victorian Acres Campground is like staying in a beautiful park with trees and a lot of grass.  It is well kept and the host is very accommodating and friendly.  Large pull thru sites and very spacious.  Not a parking lot like some KOA’s we have recently stayed in.  You will not be sorry if you stop for overnight or make it a destination for Lewis and Clark Museum. 

Quiet location but handy access to Nebraska City and the Lewis and Clark Museum.  Campground staff were helpful in getting us settled in our level site.

Needs maintenance. Very unlevel.  Rude staff. They let customers park along the already narrow road and there are quite a few junked up units siting around. They do not escort to site and the signage is lacking on the site numbers. There are a lot of written rules but apparently they decide randomly who has to follow them. Not a well run park and that is sad because it is in a beautiful location and the actual town of Nebraska City is loverly. 

We pulled in for one night stay. Had made reservation 4months in advance. The office lady said our reservation was for 4months ago. I found my email confirmation to show the lady she had made a mistake but she refused to look at it. She said “she had corrected our mistake and found a spot for us”. We will not be staying here again.

Everything you’d want in a park. Easy access, open and spacious, level sites. Really good for big rigs. Very friendly host. 

We stayed for one night. The park was clean and the bathrooms/shower were very nice. The sites were good sized and fairly level. The only thing to complain about is the wifi which hardly worked if at all. 

Only stayed overnight but park was very nice. Easy in, easy out. Very nice and accommodating owners. Definitely recommend and would stay again. 

The campground was easy to find. We checked in and proceeded to pull through site 84 with FHUs. Sites have two numbers i.e. 84/89 so you could back two small trailers together. However, with a long 5th wheel, the site was just 84. Great water pressure, good OTA channels, and 4 bars on Verizon. Solid place to stay for an overnighter or a few days.

Park is very nice lots of trees and grass gravel sites mostly level. The sites are spread out with some road noise but not bad. Will come back when in the area. 

Excellent campground with wide, shaded sites. Lots of green expanse to walk pets. Road noise was minimal. Full hookups 

Passing through stayed for 2 days it was quiet and relaxing staff very friendly 40 5th wheel pull through site good sam discount about 40 per night

Super nice people had a great pull through got in at last minute of the day so really appreciated that. Pretty park!

Really enjoyed staying here, very well maintained. Spacious sites, not alot of tree, but within minutes of town. Staff very friendly and helpful. 

If you are in the area or looking, this is well worth your time.  We will definitely be staying here on our next trip through the area.  Great staff to assist you.

I wanted to go to the College World Series in Omaha in Mid June and booked in March, but the best they could do for me was a 30-amp pull-through with full hookups.  I’m in a 36-foot Class A and would have preferred a 50-amp site so I could run both ACs if necessary, but Omaha is not much of a RV destination.  Choices were very limited since the city of Omaha decided to close both of their RV campgrounds due to flood damages and other issues.  Check-in was easy, they guided us to our site and the site was reasonably level.  The sites are reasonably large and the place seemed well maintained.

Unfortunately we had some record high temperatures and I struggled to keep the RV cool with only one AC.  To make matters worse it appeared that I was near the end of the electrical run and, with everyone’s ACs going, my voltage was pulled down to as little as 105 volts and often below the 110 I use as minimum to avoid long-term damage to the AC motors.  This forced me to run my generator for extended periods of time during the day which did allow me to run both ACs with a full 120 volts.

When a 50-amp site opened up at another RV park we talked to management and received a reasonable refund and moved.

Other than the low voltage issue, we had absolutely no problems here and would return some other time if we could get a 50-amp site.  Apparently the low voltage issue was unique to our site since I talked to a couple others and they had no similar issues.  We were on site 87.

Gorgeous campground! Beautiful sweeping lawns, fenced dog park, massive oak trees! The CLEANEST bathrooms/showers I’ve ever seen! If we are ever in this area again we will be staying here! Love love love it!!!

We stayed here for four nights and were impressed with the tidiness of the park as you approached the entrance.  We will be staying here  when we roll this area again .

Campground has different levels and each one is loaded with grass and trees. This is a beautiful place and I would highly recommend it. Wi-Fi, as usual, was not worth a darn however the sites are spacious And despite being next to a highway, the noise is not that bad at all. The gentleman who took my reservation over the phone was very nice, and there was no trouble getting to my site.

Took us off 29 south. Had to drive 13 minute to get here. Full hook up pull thru with discounts from good sam 38.50 

Over nite stay, great park layout with drive thu site. Well maintained gravel and grass sites. We used a full hook 30 amp site. Regular tv signal was good, no cable, WiFi  was slow. Good Verizon hotspot signal. Very quiet, plenty of room between sites, staff was friendly and assisted parking. Would stay again. 

Return here from our trip to Glacier and sure glad we stopped again. First time we missed going to Arbor Farm - we took our bikes there and enjoyed the day walking the grounds, relaxing in the spacious shaded picnic area just outside the mansion.  Stopped with our bikes to enjoy the historic downtown area. The site we had was nicely shaded, level gravel with full hookup. We enjoyed the variety of birds at the campground as well as the immaculately maintained landscaping.  These are very proud owners who make you feel very comfortable.  

Great park with beautiful trees and flowers. We had E/W, no sewer because we called late and that’s all they had left. But even that site was really pretty. Lots of grasslands to walk on. Bathrooms clean and nice. Fairly level in our area. Lots of fhu sites.

Lovely gem!!! Wish we had more time to stay.   Practicing COVID guidelines.  Very reasonable price for the stay!! No cable but wi do. Will stay again!!! Be safe!🙏

SUPER helpful staff (even late into the evening)!! Very Clean!  Nice dog park for our puppy.  We would definitely stay there again!!  They made my first RV camping experience fantastic😀

Just one night stay, but ever passing through again would stay again!  Owners were very nice and accommodating.  Park was well kept up and gravel pad was very level.  Would recommend.

We stayed 2 nights in our 30’ RV and glad we picked this well designed and very well maintained campground.  Level sites, plenty of room to put out both of our slide outs in site 56 even with the big shade tree.  Close to highway and, even tough you hear traffic, it is not distracting.  Efficient checkin process and we were escorted to our site. Friendly staff. Clean laundry and restrooms. Have already booked a return stay. 

Very nice park stop on the way home over night. I definitely would stay again if I am back in the area. The owners are great people and take you to your site. Very clean and just a really nice place!

Very nice clean,well kept park. Sites closer together than I like. We stayed one night electric/water site, a Friday was very quiet ,some highway noise but not bad. 11AM check out seems early. Staff super nice ,escorted us to site. Fire pits available on request.

It is absolutely one of the cleanest well maintained park. I have been in. The grounds were beautiful. Will make it our favorite when passing thru. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Verry  nice.  More like a small village.  Hard to get to because of the closed roads, but well worth the stay.

Beautiful grounds.  Nice staff. We are over 60 foot long and no problem pulling into a spot.  Would definitely stay again 

Just completed a rally with ten military veterans belonging to SMARTRVing  The campground and staff were great.  There is lots do in Nebraska City.  Highly recommended.

Just stayed here a couple days this weekend and was very impressed. Campground was very well taken care off, gravel roads and RV spots, lots of well manicured grassy areas. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. The owners are extremely nice and welcoming as well as dog friendly. We are relocating the the Omaha area and are definitely considering this park for our full time home and put ourselves on their full time waitlist. Highly recommend!

Very nice accommodations with a super friendly staff. Everything was clean!  We were able to buy ice and firewood. The dogs appreciated the dog park. No problems getting, in, out, or hooked up. 

Would stay longer the next time.  Very clean.

Well kept grounds. Bathroom and shower facilities spacious. Hosts very amiable. Even gave us directions prior to coming to avoid flooded /closed part of I 29.

Great place to stay! My husband and I stayed overnight.  Well maintained and quiet. Loved this campground! We will most certainly come back while on our journeys.

No fire pits. Evidently they offered portable fire pits to other guests, not us. Full hookups.  Lots of rules. Quiet. Web site doesn't tell you much. No rugs on grass. No fire pits on grass.  Very narrow sites. Called and left message before our trip, they never returned the call. 

 Let me begin with the area leading to this park was devastated by flooding. Victorian Acres is high and dry. This park is family run and is the absolute best run facility we have stayed at. Checking in with two other campers and only two associates doing paperwork, no problem, one of the helpers ( family members)started the paperwork so check in was quick and easy. Four people available to park units in their area. Most efficient check in I have seen to date. 
 Disney would be proud of the lawn maintenance. After a bad storm, the road was fixed the next morning! Wide open sites and if you have a large group, there is an area below that has a large play area. If I could give more stars I would, everyone was so nice and helpful. There is also a wonderful military memorial set up in a very respectful way. 
 We will be visiting this park again in the future when we can stay longer. 

Top marks in all ways. Highly recommend. Clean, friendly, level sites, space, quiet. Nothing lacking here. 

Nice, very nice!  This park is pleasing to the eyes, very green, manicured lawns, and clean.  Beautiful shade trees placed out of the way and the roads and sites are easy to navigate.  We were here 4 nights and on Friday nite, when the park filled up, it didn't feel overly crowded.  There is WiFi but slow and it drops off- like most other parks, Verizon cell signal was okay and utilities worked fine.  The sewer hose location is awkward.  Normally the hookup is towards the back of the site.  This one is towards the front.  Because of the slight slant of the sites it would appear the sewer hookup would be up hill.  It wasn't, but almost.  And because the location is towards the front, the neighbors hookup is next to your picnic table.  Other than that this place was great and we'd come back.

We stayed just one night, but the park is clean... the bathrooms/showers are very clean, laundry room was nice.  Pizza places from in town will deliver to your site.  WiFi worked although it was a little weak at our site.  Check in was easy and we were led to our site.  I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this site.  Price was right too!  included a military discount and full hookup (30 amp service)

RV rally every other year!  Last rally held last month. Full hookups, clean rest rooms and level sites. New owners that were very helpful. Meeting room could be small but no problem with pavillion just outside. Many things to do in and around the City.

If traveling on I-29, easiest exit and closest exit 10, 4 miles from park.  GPS from I-29 south takes you on some back roads. Do yourself a favor and take exit10!

Stayed here 2 nights, and would definitely return. Beautiful CG with large, level sites, lots of room between them. Full of serviceberry trees in bloom. 
Nice laundry and immaculate showers and restroom. Couldn't be any cleaner.
Was quiet and the staff exceptionally friendly. Close to Nebraska City, with lots of interesting attractions.

The good: park looked nice and we'll maintained. Showers and bathroom were clean and tidy.
The bad: pull through wasn't close to level. Both front tires were off the ground to level Motorhome.
I called the office and they sent a man to help. He brought some wood planks to place under tires.
The ugly: I noticed large black ants around the site. I sprinkled some Ajax cleanser around the jacks and tires to keep them out of the rig. Unfortunately the next morning I found that 50 or more of them had climbed the power cord and were inside the compartment. Luckily I had aerosol ant spray to kill them. When I drove to the dump station a woman drove up in her golf cart and asked me what the white powder at our site was, because she would have to clean it up. Isn't that your job?
I suggested they spray to kill infesting ant population. She lef in a huff. Not a very nice ladv. In fact, I thought she was rude  to my wife as well. Won't be back...

We had a wonderful two night stay here in a level pull through site with water and electric hookups. Free dump upon departure although some sites have full hookups if you need them. Site was shaded and had a picnic table. Some freeway noise, but not too bad. Super clean bathrooms and free hot showers.

Would definately stay here again....

We stayed one night to rest up.  The check in was smooth and friendly.  Note that they charge $3 for an extra vehicle.  We were guided to our pull-thru site which was level with gravel/crushed stone.  We had a picnic table with some grass.  There was enough room for our 39 foot fifth wheel and truck to remain hitched.  Water, sewer and electric were all fine.  The Wi-Fi was just okay, slow.  The grounds are well kept with some nice landscape.  There was some road noise and a train nearby.  But not enough to keep you awake.  Didn’t use the bathrooms/showers or any of the other facilities, so this review is more about the site and the.  Overall, a decent place for the night.  Not sure I would want to stay any longer though.

I would stay again.

I'd give it more the 5* if I could. Like others have said very nice place. Clean restrooms and showers. Sites are level and enough room to move around. Stayed in MH towing.

Nice, well maintained campground with spacious sites and many pull-thrus for larger rigs. Many amenities in a historic river town and friendly people. Owners are very friendly and eager to make stays very comfortable. No cable service but I was able to get eleven channels with just my antenna - didn't even use my satellite dish. Best campground I have stayed in this year. 

We stayed here one night in a 42' 5th wheel.  Angie the owner brought us to our site and she was very nice.
The site was gravel with grass surrounding it and nicely landscaped.
Easy to pull the rig in and out (pull-thru) and plenty of room for the slides to open and you are not right on top of your neighbors.
Services are new, but the place lacks cable TV, but most spots are open to receive a satellite signal. They do rent DVD's if you care to watch a movie.
Store & Restaurants are close to the park and some places deliver to the park.
I would highly recommend this place for a stay. I gave a four star because lack of cableTV.

We stayed two nights, spacious gravel pull through site with vast grassy areas between rigs. Owners onsite, friendly and welcoming. This park is quiet even though close to the highway but very easy to find and access. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Didn't find staff quite as friendly as other reviews, but they were fine. Some noise from highway 2. Overall clean, well maintained. Bathrooms clean. No WiFi@ site 12. Pretty level gravel and grass sites. 

Nice campground, could stay a couple of days. Bathhouse large and clean. Easy access off of highway. Sites are gravel fairly level. Was not particularly happy with my site water and electric at the back of the site sewer was towards the front would have had to run two sewer hoses. Only there over night so opted to use bathhouse. 

Stopped at Victorian Acres last night.  Super clean bathroom with big clean showers.  Our campsite was shaded, pull in-out and fairly level.  The owners are very friendly and welcoming and have plenty of little supplies you may have forgotten or need for sale. The grounds are very well maintained and clean. I would recommend for sure! 

Just outside of Nebraska city this camp ground is sparkling. Sites don't have much space or privacy but that is balanced by Manicured lawns showers cleaner than yours at home and its location close to twin but still quiet.

Clean, organized, helpful and friendly staff, spots fairly level. Playgrounds. Close to a Walmart 
But utilities a little too far forward for our travel trailer, trash can far away

Just passing through and stayed for the night. Very well kept park with good wi-fi and clean restrooms and showers. 2 play areas for the kids. Some long term sites, but well kept with no junk laying around. Very friendly staff showed us to our site. Very little road noise. Would stay here again!

We recently stayed here and found it to be a great place! The owners are very nice and the place is well maintained.  We camped with my sister as a last camping trip before winterizing. Sites are spacious and hook ups were very nice.  We definitely plan on camping here again!

We stayed here for one night to celebrate the start of summer. It was great! The owners, Angie and Dennis, are on-site are so friendly and helpful! We felt welcome from the minute we pulled in. The pull through site we had was easy to find (especially with Dennis leading the way!) the hook-ups were all working well and were easy to manage, even for RV-newbies like us. 

There were quite a few other campsites set up but we were constantly remarking how quiet it was! It seemed like there were just RVs and trailers set up but we were the only ones who were there. Even the traffic from the highway seemed to disappear!

The park was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. We didn't use any of the comfort facilities or clubhouse so I can't remark on those. But the things we did see were great!
