Turtle Beach Campground

Very clean park , sites are very close to one another, you can plainly hear your neighbors talking. Hosts are great! Nice laundry. Rode free trolley into the village area and eat at Gilligans Bar.

Cons:
There is only one way in and one way out, therefore making it hard to back into sites and traffic to pass.

Perfect location. Nice Beach directly at the campground. Shady sites and nice little breeze from the gulf of Mexico. Beautiful Beach-Island but not to far away from Mainland. Good WiFi

Seemingly impossible to book.  I've tried every combination of things, constantly get no availability.  Shame, as I've stayed in motels in the area, and have seen the campground.

Spaces are a bit tight and tricky to get into, but this is right on the beach ! Welcome to Florida! Level sites, clean restrooms, and the beach ( with a private picnic area ) just a few steps away. Nice tall vegetation separates most 46 sites.

One of the very few campgrounds on Florida’s west coast with direct beach access, but no ocean view from campsites. Spaces are close together with palm trees and shrubbery between, providing some privacy and shade. Tropical look. Well kept. Great sunsets. Walk to beach from all sites in 1 – 2 minutes. Sites slope just a bit to the paved center road. All utilities at back of sites. 50-30-20 amp power maintained 110 – 115 volts even in 90 degree June weather and a full campground. Good water pressure although I avoided drinking it, sewer worked well. Basic cable TV with a decent letterboxed picture. Wifi strong enough to stream You Tube videos, slowed late in the day and evening. 
Beach clean and water clear. No red tide, just a little sea weed. Beach has eroded over the last 3 years and vegetation has invaded parts of the beach. Still plenty of room for the modest crowds, tighter on weekends. Mostly quiet but there were some folks who at times played music and partied too loud. A complaint to the office about one group that did this until 3:30am was handled well the next morning. No repeat the next night. Two decent restaurants across the street. A scheduled shuttle bus runs to Siesta Key village. 
Sites are expensive, but you can pay double for beach sites in Florida with a direct ocean view. My rate was $10 lower in off season. Reserve early and check back often. Be willing to change sites during your stay if you want more than a few nights. Will return again in cooler weather for two weeks. 

This site is a bunch of people who have pets giving low ratings for a campground that doesn’t allow them, not everyone caters to all your needs you entitled jerks! Stayed at TBC 7 times in the last two years and there is no rat infestation unless you leave food out... imagine that, wildlife gravitating towards food. It’s amazing, the person complaining about rats, homeless and any other thing has already booked for next year. If it is that bad of a place why did you book? We all know who you are! 

NO SECURITY/ No privacy.   Rat infestation and ants! .  Noise!
You are plastered in to small spaces next to the parking lot for turtle beach.  There are homeless people sleeping in the bushes by the campground and they come into the campground at all hours to use the bathrooms, shower, wash clothes,  etc. The public also comes through the campground all day to use the showers and bathrooms even though it's marked " private- campers only". You need to be conscious about putting your things away because sometimes things get stolen.   There are a LOT of problems with people doing drugs/drinking in the  TB parking lot and dangerously speeding up and down the roads while booming rap music.  The police are constantly being calledbut never seem catch them. Next, we have rats running through the campsites, usually we see two a night.  Sometimes they are in the laundry room too.  They are destructive  and  ate holes in one camper's brand new outdoor carpet, canvas chairs and get into your grills. I also have two kinds of ants that moved into my camper two days after I got here.  Both of my neighbors have them too but not every campsite has them. Traffic is crazy so ride the free trolley. Nice location though. 

Great no pets

Great to find a pet free park. Will look forward to spring of 2020.  This park was highly recommended by a friend for clean park and beach lovers. 

Stayed 3 days in Jan. of 2018.  Pets are subjective. While it may deter some, it can be a "plus" for others. And reasons for each side can be extensive.

Great campground for beach goers.  Kinda tight spaces and you need to know how to back in with accuracy. The campground was taken over by the county and cleaned up and made nice! Modern hookups, great bathhouse and  wi-fi.  The beach is but a short walk directly from the campground. Nice restaurant across the street.

No pets! No visit!

A no pet policy is a great way to exclude most RVers, especially full-timers.  They might want to revisit that business model.

Turtle Beach on Siesta Key is beautiful & not nearly as crowded as the world-renowned public beach. The campsites are tight & close together, but there is vegetation between for some sense of privacy. Turtles restaurant across the street is on the water with exceptional food & service. The park next door has a boat ramp. This is a county park so they don't use reserveamerica.com.

...with small sites (but still big enough). Directly between street and beach. No site is too far from the beach. Prices are depending on the distance to the beach. Three price-areas from about 32-42 $ excl. tax during our stay at end of August.

We have been looking for a pet free campground. Will visit this fall. 

My wife and I love the beach and wanted a place to take our 35 foot motorhome where we could camp and have easy access to the sand and sunshine. It was a little tight getting parked since the sites are on the smaller side but we had a great time and most everything you need is close by. At the beach next door you can launch a boat or rent just about anything that floats.  Our walk to the beach from campsite (#17) took a just a couple minutes. Be prepared with a portable satelitte dish due to a lot of trees. (The shade was perfect so not complaining) There are two restaurants across the street and the office staff was great and very accommodating.  No pets are allowed but we have family living nearby so we were able to drop the dog off during our stay. Our stay was just before the Memorial Day weekend 2015 and our rating of 4 stars and not 5 is only because of the size of the sites.  Other than that our stay was a 5 star and we're looking forward to returning soon.

We couldn't stay because they don't accept pets.  What a bummer.  Very nice area. Great town!!!
