The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort

One of my favorites in all of my travels so far. Level gravel sites, plenty of room. Lots of shade trees at most of the sites. I had one by the river and it was lovely. Very quiet. The entire park is very clean and well kept including the laundry room, which has 5 washers and dryers, and two large bathrooms with showers.  Even has a little playground for the kids. The office and store has a little bit of everything you might need, and the hosts and folks who work here are very friendly. I stayed an extra day and could have stayed longer. It's a bit more than I try to pay but it's worth it.

Wooded campground with gravel roadway and fairly level, gravel, E/W/S sites. Several sites were far enough from others to provide some privacy. Nice view of the Painted Hills and Windy River. Clean, private shower/bathrooms in bathhouse,  clean laundry facility, and propane is available on-site. The new camp hosts/office managers, Dean and Patti, were very nice and helpful. A few essentials and jewelry were for sale in the office.

This park is so quiet and beautiful!  It’s dark at night. The “big rig” pull through sites are huge. We had space 32. It was right across the road from the river and a lovely grass river bank that our dog loved. You pay dearly for these huge sites on the river but after staying here we would definitely do it again. It’s a hour drive to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. We paid $101.30 a night. 

Good and bad I hate to say. I made res. 6 mths. Out and still didn’t get a river site. I’m in a class A 45 ft. It’s a nice campground , but could be better. I stayed here more than once and can’t seem to get a river front site.they were understanding when we needed to stay 3 more nites. I would stay here again. Everything nearby and great rodeos.

Very nice park. We enjoyed our stay. Shade trees and grass and gravel lots. Restrooms and showers are clean and neat and laundry facility is too. There's a motel here too if you so desire. 

From the minute we made the reservation I knew we were in trouble. The staff were unfriendly and that is putting it nicely. The park is very pretty, but that is all it has to offer. They are 88 miles from Yellowstone, there was no hot water in the showers, we lost power multiple times, and there was no attempt to help us juggle sites. My husband said it was handled like a CIA operation. We requested river front and was told they were 100% booked, which was not true. There were multiple sites open during our stay and at least 2 riverfront. Should have stayed at the KOA. We are looking forward to moving on.

This is a nice park with lots of shade trees and large sites. The roads in the park and named but the signs are small and blend in.  Minor issue.  They are very well organized and nice. There  may or may not be an issue with rodents but we left with 2 mice that found their way into our motorhome. 

Lovely quiet park, with shade, but Cottonwood bloom in early summer will clog your a/c units. Camped for 8 days in August in our Class A, 45' motorhome. Perfect, wide paved road up to the office, but the campground is all dirt & some gravel. Any vehicle that passes at more than 5mph sends up clouds of dust. Sites are dead weeds & mostly dead grass, so constant cleaning. River is a short walk away & nice. We described our rig in detail, then our assigned site was barely long enough for our RV (unhitched) & we could not get satellite. Friendly staff moved us to another site in 2 days which was better. Some sewer runs are long, you may need extra hose. 54 miles to Moran Junction, where you can begin exploring the Tetons or travel 27 miles to the entrance to Yellowstone. Market & Family Dollar in Dubois. Lame hardware store. IMO, management could do better maintaining the campground; think their focus is on the hotel portion.

We had a riverfront back in site. Beautiful view of river. Large level sites. Good space between sites. We had a large lawn area between camper and river. There was a bald eagle sitting in a tree just across the river one night. We will definitely stay again. 

This is rustic campground. Very little grass. What grass there is, was mostly weeds. Beware, very few of riverside spaces have shade. Opt for non-riverside and most sites have shade. Wifi worked were well. Cable work. 

Very nice place well kept. Very Beautiful place I would definitely recommend this place and we would definitely stay again next time here! Pretty big lots for you to stretch out on. Pretty close to the Teton national park.

Everything was great!!

We had a pull thru but it was the crookedest pull thru I have ever seen.  Cottonwood trees everywhere. It was like snow when we stayed.  Couldn’t sit outside because allergic to cottonwood.  The Wind River went through park which was pretty.  

Nice and green, right next to the river. No mosquitos, at least not when we stayec there. As a kicker: wifi is very decent!

We had a pull thru full hook up right on the Wind river, the park was beautiful and clean., plenty of room for big rigs and between sites. The only downside was the mosquitoes. Well worth it and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful campground with tons of trees, lots of distance between campers, sites with full hook ups, sites backed up to the river, level and easy to get into spaces.  The restrooms/showers are super clean with nice wood paneling details. Playground for kids.  WiFi worked great for us.

This is one of the very best campgrounds that we have stayed at.  Lots of features.  Trees in an area that is basically treeless!  Lots of space in your campsite - not rows of RVs parked close together.  Scenic river runs the back edge of the campground.  Highly recommended.

Very nice park with a big gravel pull-thru site for my 42' 5th wheel. Plenty of room to maneuver in/out of this spot. I was parked next to a river with beautiful views of the country side. Place serves breakfast in the morning and sells clothing and camp supplies in their store. Fires are allowed and they sell wood.
Great Wi-fi, but I didn't use their cable as I used my dish. Not all spots are open for dish use. 
The places is really kept up and modern.You can tell the owners care about their place. 
I would definitely stop here again.

We found this site very nice,good showers,laundry room and friendly staff.

Coming from the South from Rawlins was a great ride, and finding this at the end of our day was great. Very clean restrooms, with individual showers per "stall", so very private. The grounds were well-maintained & beautiful. 
Beware of animal droppings when taking walks. Had to clean off shoes before entering our rig. 

This is a jewel if you're visiting the national parks, doing some ATV/UTV exploring, 4-wheeling, or even using it for your fishing/hunting base camp. It's on the Wind River with excellent trout fishing and a cleaning station. The owner provides barn space to hang your harvest if you want to take advantage of the early hunting season. RV sites are spacious and well spread out with kept grass everywhere. A community pavillion with a fire pit and every campsite has a fire ring/grill for roasting marshmallows, steaks, or your fresh trout. The camping restrooms are private full baths with locking doors, there are also restrooms for your quick stops as well. There is a handycapped rest room that is a full bath and ramps for access.

This is a very nice, quiet park. They even have 3 separate bathrooms with sink, stool and shower for privacy. Very clean. More bathroom only areas  and 2 laundry areas. We were parked backed up to Wind River so could hear all night. Lots of trees and very large pull through lots. They also serve a breakfast for $3.50 in the mornings

What a gem!  The swift Wind River wraps around this serene resort.  An impressive view of the Badlands lies to the North.  The store has the basic necessities, void of the extreme commercial tourist items.  The bathrooms are lined with knotty pine, emaculate, beautiful! Several have single shower, sink and toilet in individual "suites". We stopped here before a full day of hiking and picnicking in Grand Teton Nat'l Park on our way to Yellowstone.  Very sorry we couldn't stay longer!
