Small park right on 66. We enjoyed it. Glad we stayed there and would again!

We had reserved a spot at the KOA down the road and it was horrible.  We pulled in, cancelled and left.  Found this gem up the road.  The spaces are very roomy with nice grassy areas at each site.  The park is very clean and the owners are wonderful people.  We would definitely stay here again.

It took 2 years to get here, and I’m amazed. The park is clean. Beautiful. Wonderful people. Big rig friendly. Water spigot hook up, electric, sewage. It looks so perfect here I don’t wanna leave.. Pony Lake on Rt66 is closed and the road is a bit rough here, but it’s worth it. 

Right off the freeway, far enough that you hear the freeway at night. Healthy sized pull through and back in.

Gravel pads but pretty level, great staff, just far enough off I-40 to be quiet but close enough to be very convenient except for the road in. Old 66 is a bit rough but take it slow and you’ll be fine. We’d recommend it for anyone looking for a good place to stay west of OKC

We stayed one night on our way back home from a long trip to Utah parks. Lovely campground, individual trash cans at each site. Lovely lighting and grounds. We walked up an adjacent road through beautiful wheat fields at sunset. Would definitely go back. 

Small RV park on old 66. The gravel sites are level and have full hookups. The staff is friendly and helpful. We got a short history of the area concerning Route 66. 

Owners very friendly & accommodating 

The owners are very, very nice. Our pull-thru site was level and roomy. The hook ups are good and easily accessed. The freeway noise is a non-issue. Hinton is a great little town. We saw deer in the field between the campground and the freeway. The neighbors are quiet. The sunsets are to die for! The breeze is clean and fresh. All of that being said…the Wi-Fi is weak and the OTA channels are rather spotty. The road to the campground (Rt 66) is extremely narrow and hilly, and the bridges are in terrible shape. It’s scary if you meet another vehicle while you’re towing. If you’re in a pull-thru and know your site number, I suggest stopping before you enter the grounds, get out, find your site, then pull into it from the road. All the PT sites can be entered from the road. Speaking of the road, you will hear the locals and their loud pickups going to and from their homes, as well as utility trucks and trucks pulling livestock trailers, but it’s not constant, and generally not late at night, just normal life. The office is only open 8-9am & 4-6pm daily. The little building the office is in also houses the washers and dryers (2 of each, $1.50 each machine), as well as two separate locking toilet/shower rooms. Unless the office is open, the access to the building is by code. The toilet/shower rooms have no ceilings other than the building’s roof. The showers are roomy, with cement floors and big round shower heads. The water pressure is good enough, but the shower curtains are sort of icky. Each shower room has plenty of wall hooks for towels and clothes. The serious negative here is the smell of that building. I can’t put my finger on what it is, but it hits you in the face like a train when you walk in, and you will smell it for hours after you’ve done whatever you’re going to do there. I don’t know if it’s particle board, laundry products, showering products, bodily functions, corrugated metal and moisture all combined and stewing in that small building, but Lord! Spend a good amount of time deep breathing some of that clean, fresh outdoor air after you’ve been in there. Now, after spending a week here and knowing what we’ve learned, we agree that we would absolutely stay here again! 

Easy to access off I 40 yet highway noise not bad. This park has level gravel sites with FHU. It is well landscaped and has a spotless laundry/bathroom/shower area that is modern. We would stay here again in a blink.

We stayed here for 10 days in May 2022, then again for one night in October 2022 as we were passing through the area.

During the stay in May, we were in a back in site next to the wheat field, which was very pretty. Danny and Carol, the owners, were very friendly and enjoyed telling us the history of their park. It is not a county park as stated in another review, it is privately owned. Being right on Old Route 66 gave the place even more charm.

While there in May, we enjoyed visiting the surrounding attractions, such as the Stafford Air & Space Museum and Roman Nose State Park, as well as all the Route 66 themed things to see.

When coming in from the west, our GPS did not want us to take exit 101, because of a load limit on a bridge. We discovered the bridge was in the other direction from going to the RV Park. Taking exit 101 is the closest exit to the RV Park.

This is a small (20 +/- sites) county RV Park on Rt. 66.  The pull through transient sites are accessed from Rt. 66, and the back in sites are for folks staying for extended periods of time.  Our mostly level crushed stone site was accessed from Rt. 66, and crushed stone interior roads.  The modern hookups were convenient, and functioned properly.  Plenty of OTA stations, a big sky for satellite, and good Verizon cell service.  The included WiFi was very good - always providing a signal that was useful.  Note: Passport America discount good for two nights.

Small park but, well kept. People running the park were very nice. Answered all our questions about the area.
Laundry was 1.50 a load for each washer & dryer. Very clean neat place. Well, lit at night.
Coming in from the westGPS took us down Route 66 don’t remember the exit number but, go past to the next exit it’s closer to the park.

This park is a real gem.  Close to I40 and right on historic Route 66.  It's a very quaint and tidy campground.   We have a 40' class A towing a truck and the pull through site was great.  Easy in, easy out!  Very pretty and decorative lamp posts to light the park in the evening making it feel safe and cozy for our one night stay.  We would definitely stay here again if passing through.   Best part...Danny (I'm assuming the owner) greeted us on our arrival and was super accommodating and friendly.  Thank you Danny!

Wonderful park. We came to this small campground without a reservation but even though they were full the owner found a spot for us. Gravel level full hookup sites. Owners very informative and friendly. Only stayed one night but would definitely return

The owner is super nice and helpful. The spaces are all full hookup and big. We would stay here again. 

Great couple of days in a peaceful environment. Very relaxing!

Full hook ups,  large pull through a, laundry and showers. 50 and 30 amp. Great for a night. If you want to go to the RT 66 attractions stay a day or two. Nice owner.

Owners were so nice and attentive. Place is very clean and well lit. Every site has it’s own trash can. Great place! 

This is a small quite park on rout 66. Easy travel to OKLAHOMA city. We used RT 66 both direction and found a lot of things to do both directions less than an hour away. Highly recommend owners are great laundry is cheep. Will stay again when back this way. 

Great park, level sites, easy access off and back to interstate. Beautiful scenery and no noise from interstate. Bathrooms and showers (didn’t use) but super clean; staff exceptional. Definitely would stay again.

Wonderful gem that’s easy to access off 40.  They have showers and a laundry facility. They even provide materials needed for showering, washing clothes, and wood for camp fires. This place has fresh gravel and is very level. Also, the scenery is beautiful with fields of wheat. We enjoyed watching the spectacular sunsets. We brought bikes and rode around the famous Route 66. We would definitely stay again. 

We came for one night and stayed for 10 days. The beautiful green fields of wheat were a draw after being in the desert for a few weeks. What a wonderful experience we had here. Carol and Danny are the best hosts of all time. When we left, we felt like we were leaving family. We had bonfires with a lot of the other campers and made friends from across the country. The near by town of Hinton was warm and welcoming. Not to mention the great restaurants with the best food! We will definately come back here to visit Carol, Danny and their great dog Sweet. Definitely our favorite RV park on our cross country trip. If you find yourself in this area
 Do yourself a favor and come stay at the Territory 66 RV Park. You will not be disappointed!

I 40 ,pretty quiet. Easy in and out. Carol & Denny are very friendly and helpful. They even gave us a refund for the day we left earlier although we didn’t ask for it. Thank you again. 

Sweet small place with absolutely endless horizons. Really nice grounds, clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. Right off Route 66 so a small amount of road noise, but no trains, jake brakes or other nuisances. With Boondocker's Welcome membership just $15 a night for a pull thru with FHU. What a deal!

What a great small park for a night on the road. Sure was clean and so quiet compared to the campsites right on top of Rt 40. It was a 2 mile drive but worth it and no matter which way you are going... you do not back track to highway, which was great. Cool how it was on the old cement Rt 66 road, which was in great shape still! Would stop there again!

Great little campground, about a dozen full service 50A sites, just built about 18 months ago. Big rig friendly, easy to navigate, level gravel sites. No low hanging trees. Very friendly owners. Far enough off the expressway to have zero noise, easy on, easy off. I would highly recommend. We have a 40' class A motorcoach.

Territory ROUTE 66 RV Park is a charming, small and tidy RV park right on the Old Route 66. There are ten or eleven sites and they are all the same: full hook up, long and wide, well graveled and level. There is a nice wide bit of green space between each site, and each has its own street lamp and garbage can. The sites back up to farm land, and while you can see the interstate from the front, it’s far enough away you can’t hear the road noise. 
There is a small outbuilding which houses the office, laundry and washroom. The building is still under construction but completely usable. There is large capacity front loading washer and dryer. $3 honor system to use, which includes laundry soap and dryer sheets. Washroom is large and is also on the honor system. There is a tornado shelter in front of the building, but thank goodness we had no reason to use it! This is the perfect place to overnight or stay longer to refresh and regroup on a long journey. Highly recommend!! 

Small new park with super friendly owners on Old Rte 66.  Very close to restaurants and fuel.  Level gravel lots, no highway noise, great place to walk our dog.  No cable or laundry yet.   We highly recommend!!

This campground is actually located in Bridgeport, OK, but there is no post office there anymore. This is a fairly new Passport America park. It’s very small (11 back in FHU sites) but really nice. All the gravel sites are very long and level, with railroad ties delineating the sites; grass is between each site and there is plenty of spacing. There are some trees providing shade, although not all sites have shade. The park is built on the site of an old motor court and cafe that was used by travelers on Route 66 many years ago. The owners, Carol and Danny, are very friendly and are RVers themselves; they are still planning new additions to the campground in the future. There is a dump station available for travelers. Both ATT and Verizon cell signals were strong. WiFi worked too. We didn’t set up our portable Dish because we got plenty of OTA channels out of Oklahoma City. The surrounding area is farmland and there is a large section of grass in front of the sites that is perfect for walking, even although there is not a specific dog area. The campground is not far off I-40. It needs to be noted that Route 66 is pretty rough! We would definitely stay here again. 

Neat campground with only 11 sites. All back ins with FHU.  Actually located on Route 66. Stayed 2 nights for a overnight breather.  Visited the Red Rock Canyon Park and hiked a couple of trails. Nice break from driving 4 days. Cash or check only. No laundry or store. 

We have an odd sized rv & they got us in for the night.  Nice little park off the main roads.

What a cute little park! Brand new, 11 sites FHU with long and level gravel sites. Great for overnight or if you just want to watch the corn grow! We used Passport America $16.50. Come in off exit 101, 95 is longer.

Stayed here one night passing through. The park owners were so friendly and helpful! Nice quiet site, slept really well! They just started this park 5 months ago! Excited to come back through in a few months to see what they’ve done.

We stayed for one night in this near-new RV Park that is about 50 miles west of Oklahoma City,  just a mile north of I-40, on Old Route 66.  It made a great stop-over; quiet, beautiful "top of the world" type setting where the sunsets were gorgeous.

The park sits at the edge of a wheat field out in the wide open Oklahoma prairies.  Some shade is available along with full-hookups.  Sites were long enough for us to stay hooked up to our 27' travel trailer and were nice and level.

Good wifi available.  Easy on and off I-40, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.  Made a great over night stop as we crossed Oklahoma.

Fairly new camp.  Opens in June 2019.  Camp site had easy access to and from I-40.  Arrived late after long day on the road in rain and high winds.  Owners were friendly and helpful.  Owners helped in the dark with setup in a cold rain and wind.  Although our stay was short, long enough to rest and be on our way, we would use the facilities again, hopefully on better weather and when less worn out.

This campground hasnt been open very long. Grounds are clean and kept. Sites are level, gravel, full hookups 30 and 50 amp. 
Campground is quiet. It is basically an overnight cg. 

For me, I had a little problem finding it: didnt see any signs announcing it; once off inter state 40. Didnt see signs. Owner gave good directions by phone.
