Sweet Citrus Acres RV Resort

The large park has come a long way since last year to be sure. There are many pros, but the overall feel is still a giant parking lot. I've designed several parks, and this cookie-cutter style with perfectly straight roads and NO landscaping and no charm is not my cup of tea. 

PROS: 
Absolutely amazing pool and huge clubhouse, with bar and tiny convenience store for RV necessities.
Excellent attentive friendly staff.
Everything is brand new and spotlessly clean.
Good walking trails around the park.
Big rig friendly. 

CONS:
Park still feels like a giant parking lot. No trees, no shade, no charm, no privacy from your neighbors. Your view is the back of someone else's rig. 
Long walk to pool/laundry/bath house depending on where you are parked (up to 1/2 mile!)
As I predicted in my previous review, rates did go up. $87-$97 per night.

All in all, it is a very nice park. It's a shame they didn't put trees in during the construction phase; that would have gone a long way towards improving the charm of the park. They should also consider adding another bath house and laundry, as there is currently only one, and not a convenient location for most sites.

Wonderful rv resort. Flat, paved site… with room between neighbors.
The clubhouse and staff were amazing. Close to downtown Crystal River.

I have no doubt that one day, this brand new park will be beautiful. Today is not that day. This park is well laid out, and easy to get in and out of.... however, it  is still under construction and completely devoid of landscaping/charm.  It currently feels very much like a huge parking lot in a huge field. That said, there are good amenities (pool, pickle ball courts, brand new, spotless bathrooms and showers....)  )And, even though the park is still under construction, it is high season, so most of the sites are filled.... I'm guessing that is mainly because their rates are low compared to other RV parks. (Approx $70-$80/night). My guess is: as soon as they get further along in the construction phase, and add some landscaping, rates will go up. There is a mix of Class As, 5ers and TTs. Sites are all brand new, level concrete, and there is grass between spots.  There is room for tent/screen room. Room to park your extra/tow vehicle, but not enough for a boat.  The park is a short drive from Three Sisters Springs, the "manatee capital"... in the cute, small town of Crystal River. Lots of great restaurants and some cute shops nearby. Great fishing.
