St. Johns County Rest Area 2 (Southbound)

Really nice stay and ( friendly )
 overnight security guards. Shade or full on sun, spacious and clean.

Stopped here during the day and were very impressed! Huge rv spaces and a very pretty picnic area with shelters and tables spread out among a large grassy space. Plenty of room for a walk to stretch legs. Bathrooms were clean and somewhat open air. Didn’t stay overnight. 

Stayed overnight. Clean bathrooms. Lovely picnic areas! Great place for walking the dog. They have armed security patroling the grounds at night which made it feel even more safe!

I didn't go inside. Nice area for RVs away from trucks.

There is a sign on the way in that says “no overnight no camping” but I’m sure that’s just for the people who put slides out and pitch tents. No one bothered us and it was quiet. 

We stayed overnight lastnight its quiet .

There is a sign that says no overnight parking but it seems to be entirely ignored.  The nice thing about this rest stop is the really nice picnic area loop.  I don't know if that part closes at night but it's a great place for a picnic.

There is seperate camper area (seperate from both trucks and cars) and it's as far from the freeway as possible so I slept great.


Compared to other rest stops this is for sure five stars

No overnight parking allowed.

Ample parking for RV's. Good stop for dogs. Picnic tables are a little hike. No grills seen. Plenty of vending machines. Restrooms are dated, but there are plenty of stalls & they are clean.
