Southern Leisure RV Resort

Not close to anything yet they charged $105 for one night pull through. We only did it to visit a friend staying there. Never again. 

Since we were trying to travel the west coast of Florida Chiefland was on the way. Located very near a Wal-Mart that allows overnight parking. Park is beautifully maintained, paved interior roads, concrete slabs for RV and vehicle, grass between sites. Nice site markers, some long term sites, pool laundry room $2 each for wash & dry. Large clubhouse with activities, book exchange, pool, pickle ball. Would return again if in area. Used a 23spring33 discount code for 3 nights.

The RV resort is nice, clean, large pull through sites but NO WiFi except in the club house.   That's the only reason for 3 stars.

Do not pick sites 183, 184, 185 by the pickel ball courts. They smell like poop, there's a transfer grinder fight there.

Started using dinamic pricing. Meaning they try to get you to pay as much as they can , no set pricing.

Top right corner says $72, so I don't know what the other person sees? A lot of COVID starting in the park. The office says to ware a mask inside all buildings. All the stupid people are starting with there dumb posts, just get your shots and ware a mask. We would not be starting all over again 2yrs. later.

Getting in to the park is a tight maze, circle then narrow  gate. For $70 should have trash pickup. Nice park clean long sites but tight to make turn into for 45 ft. with tow. 3 stars for the price not for park.

Beautiful park, all even slabs, lots of green space in between sites, heated pool, lots of activities, really nice amenities. Bad stuff: WiFi sucks, no trees which will be incredibly hot in summer. Also we paid $73 per night and were told rate going up in June. This site is showing $50 so just beware.
