Skamania County Fairgrounds - Rock Creek Campground

There were only three of us in this humongous grass, sort of soggy in places campground. Beautiful view of the river and extremely quiet. I had electric but NO WATER  that I found. $20 cash/ check with NO  electric, $25 cash/check WITH electric. Lots of geese honking, no trains or planes to bother you. But nothing other than a place to stay. I’m sure they must’ve had restrooms or something but I didn’t see any.

We stay here often. If you go to their website, it makes it sound like they only take smaller rigs, but they actually take larger rigs. We are 32 foot fifth wheel.  Call the number and make sure you can camp here and how to pay.  It all depends on what events they have going on. There were no envelopes available so we went into the office and paid there.  They’re very relaxed.  Their work hours are Monday through Thursday 730 to 530   BTW they only take cash. 

Can only camp when there are no events.  There is a kiosk where you pay. Cash only. $20 dry camping and $25 electric 30 amp. Sites 1-12 are on pavement are 50 amp.  There are water spickets to fill your tank in several places. There is a dump station on the other side of the buildings. Lots of trains. Walking distance to town.
