Salina Walmart Supercenter

Stopped over for the night. Manager said to park on the south side. Close to level spot to sleep. There were a few semis there. Seemed safe and quiet.

It was a good place to stay one night. We didn't have good shade, but if was quiet. 

Called and talked directly to the manager. He said that one night was totally okay. The only place allowed is the lot adjacent to the auto center where the semis park. Lot was not real level but doable without putting out the levelers. If you don’t like to park with big trucks, this place is not for you.

Some highway noise but overall a very safe place.
Dog trainer from Corado was parked next to us
and dog alarm clock was 0630 .
Very well lite up area..

We’ve stayed in a lot of Walmart lots, and this one was better than most. A few campers, no semi’s, felt safe, nice area. Not too loud. 

I'm trying to use the internet to order something online and it tells me I'm in Michigan. I've changed my address five times

The manager approved our stay this time! It's a huge, nice store and we stocked up! We parked in the back corner on the garden side (and auto shop) next to the road. A couple other RVers joined us for a quiet night. Thank you Salina Walmart! You kept us out of the severe storms/tornado warning area last night!

Stayed on the garden side near the Great Clips. Pretty quiet. We checked inside and they said it was fine. Did a little grocery shopping while we were there. 

We called ahead and were told OK to overnight. There are signs that say vehicles left over 24 hours will be towed. I guess because it was a Friday night the kids were racing around in their punkmobiles and it sounded like a Nascar track until midnight or so. We parked beside the garden center as it seemed the least likely to effect store customer parking. Maybe quieter on other side. But nonetheless, grateful to Walmart for allowing the overnight.

Called and were told they no longer allow parking. 5-7-21

We had planned to stay here but when I contacted the store Mgt. about allowing an overnight stay she said, "No, but I tell people to park by the Cox Store (now closed down, next to Great Clips) because they don't care." The parking lots connect but we didn't feel welcomed so we moved east to Junction City.

There were a few trailers but out numbered by far with trucks so it was a little loud but with our generator and air on, everyone got some sleep. Ez on and off. Appeared to be a quite and safe area. Gas stop across the street and they were very nice too. 

Our stay was good. Easy on and easy off I-70.

Easy in and out off highway. Called ahead and told where to park. Did some shopping at Wal-Mart before hitting the sack. Thanks Wal-Mart!

I asked the greeter at the door about parking.  I told her I was parked on the side by the hotel. I believe it was employee parking. "She said you are only staying one night"  I see no reason to stay in a parking lot longer.

The store is clean and well stocked.

If you want a good steak walk over Tucsons very very good.

It was noisy all night long. Seems like a safe enough area but there was constant noise.

If you park by air units inside of
Walmart you can use generator ! Quite spot .

Stopped here on our way south. Very convenient.  Parking lot was busy when we arrived but quieted down later.  Highway noise wasn't that bad.  Walmart staff was great. 

We followed the directions of the campers in May. Kinda noisy at night in the beginning but then quieted down real nice. It felt safe because there were quite a few other campers around. Would definitely go back!!

Good place to stop for the night. Park in the south on the automotive service side. We parked away from the corner which was a bit quieter.

I made the mistake of parking near the street and highway entrance and it was Loud! 
For what counts... felt safe getting rest here so we'll be back. :)
