Roberts Mobile Home & RV Resort

We found a lovely shaded spot that was nicely spaced between other sites. This is mostly residential, so nice and quiet. They even have laundry and showers which don’t show listed in the above amenities. There is definitely a place to discard trash. 

This place is so expensive for just no reason. $70 a night to park on some grass with a ton of people all crowded around. They have no trash dumpsters, don’t give you information about anything when you get here, and will disconnect your water hose if it isn’t deemed long enough. They don’t introduce themselves when they knock on your door either. No change machine or vending machine in the laundry room. 

Great, friendly hosts. Sites were pleasant, but because of trees close to the road, were hard to back into. Glad we had extra 10 feet of sewer hose.

Stay there for one month. definitely overpriced not an RV Resort. would never stay there again. packed in like sardines in a can. everything there is extra. staff very unfriendly all they want is the money don't care about their customers.

This park is centrally located to St. Petersburg, Tampa, Clearwater, and the beaches. 
Given that their location is so great, it seems to have made them generally inconsiderate of their guests. On arrival we were asked to wait a half hour to be led to a site that was easy to find, 100 yards away. We were to be instructed in how to situate our rig in the site, which turned out to be parallel to the road with hookups on the normal side. ??? Then our electricity didn’t work. Another half hour until someone came and threw the breaker that was across a cg street.  When I checked its location for a possible future need, an employee told me I was not aloud to go “into their box.” I pointed out that normally the breaker is at the site, for safety in hooking up, and that their outlet needed to be replaced as it was open to weather (I bagged it for our stay).
Details: only 1 of 6 sinks in the bath house gave enough water to wash one’s hands. No hot water at the sinks — and this is a commercial campground. The showers were push-button. One of the three in the men’s side lasted an appropriate time to take a shower after a number of pushes; the other two were worthless.
Very close to Gandy Blvd: noise all night long.
They close the bathrooms for cleaning for an hour or so between 7:00-9:00 a.m. Could there be a more heavily used time?

Campground is very tight and very old.  We were in a 38 ft Motorhome and our site was between two permanent park models and trees.  The water and sewer hook ups were a long ways away from where they needed to be hooked up to  on our Motorhome.  The pool is very small considering the number of sites both permanent and temporary that were available.  Our biggest complaint was that the restrooms and showers were closed for cleaning between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM every morning.  Plus there were only 5 stalls and 5 showers available in the one and only restroom/bathhouse.
