Rice Creek Chain of Lakes

We had a great stay. Bathrooms were nice with good water pressure and hot water. Playground was nice with unique features. All sites were nicely spaced out with woods between. We stayed at site 14. It was big, easy to back in to. It is located just across the road from the playground and bath house. There is even a little walking path from 14 to the playground area. This made it much easier to keep an eye on our kids but not feel like we were sharing our yard with everyone at the campground. 

Beautiful park, saw many deer, bunnies & turtles. Walking distance to beach. Sewer is dump station which was the only downfall I saw. Spacious lots semi secluded from neighbors.

Price comes to $41 and change for one night. Had to buy a pass for my car even tho I never even unhooked it. I barley turned off the engine, was still sitting my seat when the host comes up and tells me to put my little piece of paper on the post, jeez man ok, can I get out of my motorhome first or was I supposed to fling it out the window and try to stick it as I drove in? They gave me the worst spot too I swear, full sun all afternoon and evening, it was not fun. And the park wasn't even a quarter full. I probably won't be back. I hate leaving negative reviews but I gotta be honest. 

This is a very spacious camp ground, no laundry and showers toliets very dirty, not cleaned at all while we were there.  Water and electric only but dump station at entrance.  You are in the woods so lots of mosquito.  You can only stay a max of 7 nights, in one month, also have to buy car pass for park.  

I like Rice Creek Campgrounds as the are near to us but gives a rural feel. They have a small laundry and showers area. Playground within the camping area. Miles of walking paths and a very nice beach area with another playground and a boat beaching area. The sand volleyball court is real nice but its location can be an issue with an errant hit as their is a murky pond near by. They have a boat launch into Centerville Lake which is a nice recreational lake.
