Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park

Perfect overnight stay on our way out west.  Super friendly staff made check-in easy.  Off season, so very quiet and peaceful.  

A fantastic park with lots of hiking trails beautiful scenery lots of shade trees.

A very pretty campground and it used to be my favorite CG in Oklahoma. Most recent visit was a little "off." Reserved 2 spots, side by side so our friends could camp with us. Web site states Senior and/or Vet discount, but there is no place on the reservations page to do so. Had to have the park attendant refund the monies back to my credit card. Got into the canyon only to find that there was a rig in one of the two spots I specifically reserved. A flurry of phone calls to the attendant were required. Never found out who or why they were still there and never offered an explanation either. The attendant kept sending us to a site  that did not exist, as listed on the park map. We were finally able to get two sites side by side in a different part of the campground, which was ok, but not what we really wanted. Otherwise, all was fine, good power and water, adequate fire ring. I think they are trying and are just having some growing pains/kinks that need to be worked out. They do have 3 FHU sites, a honey bucket service, and firewood for sale in the park as well. 

This place has potential but needs some $$ invested.  Trails are grossly overgrown, water spigot at our site leaked horribly, couldn't find much to do. It provided a place to stay but we were hoping for more

Only spent one night under a tornado watch! Thunder was intense in the canyon but the park was pretty.

Made a reservation for a premium spot 2 1/2 months in advance. Arrived to find our spot had been moved without notice. No management to be found on premises. The event that was slated for the weekend was also changed. Did not stay, won't be back. 

Pretty park and nice campsites but for 35 dollars a night(full hookup) a person should not have to pay to take a shower.  I know that pay showers are an Oklahoma State Park thing but this park is now private with private campground prices.  Put in decent free showers and I give you five stars

Stayed one night during a cross country trip. We stayed here on a whim and wish we could have stayed longer. The location is beautiful and well kept. Lots of walking trails and places to explore.

Only was able to stay one night . Wanted to stay more, beautiful place.  Caught a small large mouth bass.  Reccomend to anyone to stay here.  

Beautiful location, somewhat spread out sites. They don’t have sewer for all of the sites but they offer a honeypot service (we didn’t use) or they have common dumping areas. We stayed on a weekday for 1 night and it was a nice quiet location. 

We were able to obtain a spot for our Class B camper on short notice. Very accommodating staff. Beautiful campground. We wish we would have had time to stay more than one night and check out the trails. We will stop again when we come this way again. As others have noted it does have a steep grade down into the canyon. 

We went here with our Girl Scout Troop and stayed in Tents, also went and stayed in our 5th wheel in April.  The owners are very accommodating.  The sites are all very level.  4 sites with sewer as well, all others have water and electric.  There are two shower houses and several more bathrooms in the park.  There are allot of things to do in the park (hiking, swimming pool, geocaching) Outdoor movies and a new camp shop. 

Does not honor veterans, or senior citizens. No discounts for anybody. Everybody pays the same.

Some of the upper trails need clearing, but all in all a great little park.

We stopped here for a quick overnight stay. No reservation, just pulled in and found the one available full hookup site and left cash in the box. Only $25 for full hookup!  We had the park almost all to ourselves with only 2 other campers. My son and I took a morning hike on one of the trails. Very nice views of the canyon. Beautiful place and we’ll definitely return if we’re ever in the area again. They do have a pool but was already closed for the season in mid August. 

Wonderful state park. Had backin concrete pad enough for 32 C and unhooked toad. Some sites dry camp, soe with weater elec  some fullhookup. Nite sounds of frogs etc. Armadillos around. Its a must stay if you like nature.

Nice secluded and surprising camping area with pay showers (.50-1.00) flush toilets, short trails but muddy since it had just rained.  Elect and water with concrete pads at many sites.  Steep road down might not be suitable for big rigs.  At this time of year, it had very few campers.

The park has good potential and it look like they are working to update the facilities and trails.  We hiked several of the trails which had inconsistent trail markings.  It would be good to have a more comprehensive trails map.  The other issue, we spent nearly an hour picking up the trash around our campsite, including many cigaret butts and bottle tops from the fire ring.  

We only had one night at the park. We enjoyed the courteous and helpful staff and the lovely atmosphere of the park.  It was beautiful in its fall foliage with a babbling brook through out the camp sites. 

We are here right now and we love it. It was a little scary coming down in here, but so worth it. We are staying 2 nights and it is beautiful here! You do have to pay for showers but we are in a 5th wheel and we have our own shower. So that don't matter to us. We would stay here again!! Love it! 

$22 minus $2 (for being old).  No extra charges for non residents - nice going OK.  A few pull thru sites. Bathrooms are better than many private RV parks.  Certainly the views and distances between sites are better than any private park.

We were here for just one night.  Friendly staff. $20/site with electric. There were a couple of sites with sewer.  Nice sites--are flat and most will fit at least a 35 foot camper.. Scenery is pretty--it's in a small canyon with some trails.  They could definitely improve the bathrooms showers--no doors or even curtains in one bathroom--there was another newer bathroom with "pay" showers.  There were less than a $1 to use so not overly expensive but I always figure that you shouldn't have to pay extra for them.  It seemed more like a county park than a state park based on quality of the bathrooms.  We'd stop again if we were in the area and needed a place to stay for a night.  It felt safe and everyone was friendly.

 Beautiful spot. Quite. A great red rock Indian canyon. Cool walks. Rock climbing.  So glad we found it. Only 20. For full hook up. 5 min from i40.
