Port Angeles Walmart Supercenter

We called and were told it was OK for 1 night. When we arrived and checked with the service desk we were told that overnight parking was NOT allowed. The manager did allow us to stay with a promise we would be gone by 7AM.

New manager has put up signs about no overnight parking I am trying to contact their market manager to get explanation because one week their was no rules as per Walmart policy, and now they have signs and I can't get a straight answer from their customer service call center.

We asked and were given permission to stay one night in the parking lot. Felt safe. Thank you Walmart.

Gas is at least 50 cents cheaper up at this end of town, and especially at Safeway. 
You get used to real expensive gas in Canada, so the stations you drive by off the ferry seem like deals, they are not.

Quiet night’s stay next to the garden center as others have reported. There were about 10 rigs here. Management came around in the morning and politely informed everyone that we may only stay for 24 hours. No issues at all.

was going to stay over night as walmart is listed as a over night camp but a staff member smoking a cig.. with bad breath and teeth approach me very rudely say she was going call the cops if I park there when the parking had 5 other RV's there but my rv is an older one but don't look bad  but o well  f that ugly rude walmart employee ill take my business to a different place like Amazon and Safeway

Very busy but free so great!

This Walmart is smaller than most. Doesn’t have a family bathroom, the entire place is smaller by Walmart standards go. 

Quiet sleep. Saw an airstream in the lot too. Great location to the park. About 25 mins to Storm King. 

I called 7/28/2020 and they okayed overnight parking. I decided to stay one more night. 3 trips into Walmart buying groceries/prescriptions. I got a knock on the door 7/29/2020 at 8:45 p.m. telling me to leave, no overnight parking allowed because of Covid. Really...and then they accused me of camping there forever just because I had a white Promaster van(LOL...we all look alike). Very rude to me......don't think that I will be shopping at Walmart again. Bye, bye!

We arrived around 6 and found a spot with the other campers on the side of the building next to lawn and garden.  I went in and asked permission to stay and the lady was very nice and just requested we stay on the side of the building by lawn and garden.  We restocked and then went back to our camper to eat dinner.  Two of the Other RV people came by to ask about our Jayco and how we liked it.  Very friendly parking lot.  It was super quiet as well until a huge class A showed up around 11 and ran their generator all night.  I had my ear plugs with me so I put them in and was fine... 

Great location, open 24 hours, and beautiful view of the mountains.  The night we stayed there were probably 7 other RVs in the lot.  

24 hour Walmart was perfect for satisfying those midnight snack cravings. Walmart staff were nice and friendly.  We called in advance and the manager confirmed that overnight stays were allowed.  Excellent and quiet 2 night stay.

Stayed all the way back by the Garden center. In two nights, was very quiet. Could not have asked for a better stay!

All recent reviews accurate. Park near outer edge on Garden Center side. 

Although it's a parking lot, it felt alright. Other people camping there as well and store opened 24h. Nice view of the mountains as well. Bit noisy in the morning but that is to be expected.

Quiet, large lot.    Clean,  well-stocked, 24 hour store.  About 10 rigs parked here when we stayed, most by the garden center.  Would definitely stay here again. 

Hey, it's a WalMart parking lot, so no amenities here. Still it's a safe harbor if you just need to stop for a day or two. After dark it's relatively quiet, well lit, and monitored by cameras. If you stay here, do it right so they'll continue to allow RVs... the nearby Sequim store doesn't allow them.
1. Let the on duty manager know you're there and give your license plate number.
2. Park your rig at the northeast parking area on the garden center side, towards the back.
3. If you walk your pet, please pick up after them.
4. Don't drain or pour anything down the storm drains in the lot since they flow into settlement tanks.
Remember you're a free guest of a 24 hour store and sharing the lot with employees and customers. Maybe let a manager know you appreciate hospitality.
