Pettibone Resort

Très beau camping, très propre. Emplacement sur le bord de l'eau, Mississipi River et très grand terrain. Proche du Pettibone Park et près de pistes cyclables. 

Price and name don’t match campground.  Bathrooms are very old.   Laundry room is a joke 2 washers and 2 dryer’s for over a hundred campsites.  Located on  Mississippi only thing going for this place is location.  

Large trees sites with ample of room. Most are waterfront or right near. Clean shower facilities. Bar with camp store and nominal food items. Watch out for mosquitos!

We saw this gem from an overpass 2 years ago and came back for it. Weekend was full and that means kids, dogs, late night people. We stayed through a couple of weekdays to enjoy the river and the beautiful town of La Crosse without the crowd. Natural food co-op less than a mile away, coffee shops, etc. Make sure you have at least 25ft water hose, hookups are at rear of sites and electric is 6ft high for floods. Resort has an RV repair shop and a bar/banquet hall. We'll be back! 

Made a reservation somewhat last minute.  Staff was helpful and camp is clean.  Bathroom are very clean and we saw being cleaned multiple times during the day. 
Our side was level with a cement driveway and picnic pad.  Small secluded beach on the far south end. 

Lots of mosquitos. Wet conditions due to rain. Bath house clean. Overnight stay here after a long drive from My Rushmore. So just a dinner and sleep. Spots close together. Seemed like a lot of long stay campers. Right on the river. 

A lot of golf carts and barking dogs. Noisy and crowded. Not my type of place but I needed to stop for the night.

We had a site on the river.  A little hard to back into but we are 41' and that isn't unusual.  Staff is friendly.  Enjoy watching kids fishing off the shore.  If we are back this way again we will definitely return.  It  would gotten 5 stars if they had move 50 amp sites available.
