Peculiar Park Place RV Park

Highly recommend this CG. Long pull thrus, good space between sites, we didn’t feel closed in. Superb laundry room!  Everything in the park was clean and well maintained plus very nice staff!  There was highway noise but it didn’t bother us. 

With this park the parking pads are awesome level gravel pads with rail road ties to hold in place nice concrete walk ways paved roads  
Laundry is new and wow they built a nice one and building another area with toilets and showers. 
There’s basically four sections and if you know you know. But original section mainly for nightly and weekly  now for the great stuff there nice section behind office great spot then there’s the back section. Expanded pads and yards. Just wow. And now the lower section. Lots of room pads are just as awesome and in the evening you get to enjoy the view of deer walking by and the foxes playing along the tree line. 
Water pressure bring your regulator but come on you should already know that.  
Cell is ok for Verizon but t mobile is fast it should be this is the home of sprint. 
We was here for a month and just love coming back 
There was a food  truck night now that’s a treat no cooking so visit them when they do so they having them. Support local come on people it’s not hard.

Really well maintained rv park.  Wendy and her husband go out of the way to help.  Only con was that the dog park in a very long walk if you're parked in the back.

We were here for an overnight, very charming campground. Asphalt driveway, level gravel sites with a concrete patio and picnic table and bench. There are pull through and large back in sites, we were in a 65’ pull though and had plenty of space with our 40’ coach and toad. They are expanding and it looks very nice. Right off i49, but noise was not an issue for us. 

Highly recommend this park!! The owners and team  are simply exceptional!!! Easy on and off interstate.  Close to shopping/restaurants.  We were in a pull through site which had ample space for our 40ft and toad!!  We will stay here again!!

This is right off the highway.  Some road noise.  We got a very  unlevel spot. Odd layout of a park.  No restrooms.   $796 for two weeks.  Not worth the price.   The only trash bins are at the exit of the park. They do have a laundry room.  Just priced wrong for what it is. 

Nice place. Clean. Friendly staff.  Shade in some places.  WiFi wasn’t good.  The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that all of the pull through sites have your rig so that the door side is facing the afternoon sun.  It makes for a very hot afternoon.

Stayed one night in route home.  Owner waited around for me even though I was late for 6pm checkin. Chatted a few minutes then was escorted to site. Very clean and easy in/out.  Entire place looked well kept. Only complaint was hwy noise but I was so tired it didn’t matter

Stayed one night on route to Custer. Super clean. Big rig friendly. FHU. Hilly campground. One negative: the dog park is very far away. 
Note: went eat BBQ at Jack Stack’s. FABULOUS!

Everything is neat tidy and works!   We were able to call late in the afternoon and get the last site - we arrived before 6 but they were going to wait for us if we arrived later.  Would definitely stay here again.

You have to show up before 5 in person to get a site. We couldn’t make reservations ahead as they only take cash or check. Not a good option for those traveling through late looking for a quick overnight. 

The park only takes cash. This is NOT mentioned on their website or literature. 

If traveling with others, don’t count on getting sites together. It seems that they will not attempt to save adjacent sites and will only accommodate you if they happen to have sites together when you arrive. 

This RV Park is very convenient right off the highway.  Very friendly staff! WIFI is great as well as local tv reception.  Water pressure is good.  Near gas and food. Since it is near the highway you will hear a lot of traffic noise.  

Had a great March stay in a very level drive through site with full hookups.  Power box had 20, 30 and 50 amp service.  Gravel drive with cement patio.  Little close but layout and landscape provided plenty of living space.  Camp ground expanded since our last stay with further expansion in progress.  Very clean restroom, convenient location - 2/3 mile south of Flying J.  Grocery store and some fast food places within 2 miles and great jump off point for day trips to the KC Area.  Veteran owned, very friendly customer oriented owners.  Strongly recommended.  Good Sam discount, cash or check only.

Very nice full hookup RV park close to Kansas City attractions.  Hosts very hospitable and accommodating.  Very level site, paved patio with nice landscaping and picnic table. Approximately 3/4 from Flying J. Some traffic noise from I49 - not bad

Don’t book here unless you can be there by 6:00 pm.  We were running about 30 minutes late but that was not going to work for them.  They can’t give you your site number.  You have to be escorted to the site by someone,  

Stayed after returning from Branson.  We we called they said they were full, but decided to put us in a brand new site.  Even though we are fairly new to RV travel (we have a 35 foot coach) this was the nicest park we have  stayed in.  The owner and manage stopped by to make sure everything was okay which was a nice touch.  We would stay again if passing this way.

Great park.  Paved roads and gravel sites.   Not bad spacing.  Staff great, friendly and helpful.   No cable but can get over the air stations.  Wifi typical for campgrounds.   Cash or check only. 

Very friendly & helpful employees. Very quiet even though close to interstate. Very clean & easy in/out with our Class A 40’.

Nice RV park, called late but they found a spot for us. The lady (wish I had gotten her name) was wonderful and so helpful. Only complaint was wifi

Very nice folks. We are a 36' motorhome with a toad. Our pull thru site was gravel but level. It had a nice little paved patio attached. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay again. 

Called at last minute, host worked with us to find a spot as they were maxed out, thank you!

Overnight stop. Very nice office staff took us to site 60. Pull through, W/E 50 amp hookup. Slope to front of site, front tires slightly off ground for level, fine for overnight. All utilities good, WiFi free and worked well. Did not use any facilities. Pilot just up the road. 32.00 per night with Good Sam or Veteran. 

Stayed at last minute during drive. Very nice staff, easy hook ups. Everything was great. 

We stopped here just for an overnight stop. What a great campground. The lady in the office was very nice and took us to our site. We had a back-in site toward the back of the park and it was long and wide. We had plenty of room. There are several levels to this campground and all the sites are large. You might have interstate noise if close to the front of the park we were did not have any toward the back. It looks like they are adding on to the back part of the campground also. I did not check out the showers or bathhouse but I would imagine as nice as this park is that they are spotless. We would stay again if in the area.

Yes, there is interstate noise, but it isn't really noticeable when inside your rig.
Our 5th wheel is 44 ft. We had to park our truck in the parking lot, but it was only about 50 ft from our site. We didn't use the bathhouse or laundry.

Nice park,nice office staff.  Clean green place. Only stayed 1 night with our 2 dogs,37 ft 5th wheel. Will stay again

Very nice campground. Nice, long pull through sites. We have large dogs, large area to walk them.   Stayed overnight while traveling through. We will definitely stay here again.Flying j with lots of room to maneuver right up the street. 

Nice clean campground.  Friendly and helpful staff.  Easy site access and for the most part plenty of space between sites.  One thing I tend to look at closely is the power pole.  Ours was clean, solid, and my Progessive EMS didn't complain at all.

Plenty of pull through sites with more space than a lot of places. Nice clean facilities and great staff and owners around year round. Easy to get to and to area attractions.  All gravel sites with plenty of trees and pet friendly areas.
