Osprey Walmart Supercenter

Parked to the left rear of lot near Wendy’s and the cheap gas station. Dunkin  Donuts inside Walmart on left side. No Knock. Quiet. No diesels running all night. 

On our door and several other RVs that were parked at the end of lot for the night and told us we had to move. "The new manager of this Walmart doesn't allow overnight parking." 

Osprey is barely a town in Sarasota county. Sarasota county has no ordinance against overnight in a Walmart for god sake. Enjoy. 

The state park just south on 41 is very nice.

We stayed here back in January 2020 with no problems even tho there are no parking signs.( I actually called ahead and they said they don't allow it but everyone does anyway. ) Others stayed too including some beggars camped out in their cars, off in the corners. Tonight (Jan 2020)we pulled in and the cart guy came over and said we're not allowed to park overnight. We asked about the other ones parked and obviously planning on staying overnight and he said they are leaving. (Sure didn't look like they were leaving.)  We didn't want to risk getting woke up at night so we called Lowe's about 2 miles away (4020 Central Sarasota Pkwy, Sarasota, FL 34238) and they were awesome and said yes and said to park by the garden center.  I'm not sure that Walmart is literally running people out, maybe just trying to frighten people away but we aren't about to risk a 3am knock from the police. Try it at your own risk.  

We stayed one night with no issues. Parking is ample and was half empty. There was one truck and a van dweller that we saw when we arrived. No issues. In around 7pm oun by 8:30am.  Stayed 4/28/19

Stayed for 3 nights, always parked at the back of the lot on the grassy spots. There are no-overnight signs, but around 10 rv and vans were also staying there, so we felt ok. No problem.

Last night there were 7 RVs when the manager came over 10pm...and said no more overnights. Read the signs. He was very nice about.  He said you can stay the night but don't come back.

Tried to park here. Ramshackle C in lot with strange activity.Moved further away.2 people jump in car and followed me. Left area.

Wrote a review a few days ago. Forgot to mention: one class C owner has been in this parking lot for over 2 weeks.  See him as i go to siësta met beach.

Several Class B.. C's.  Stayed several nights.  No problem.

I called and they did not allow overnight parking.

Checked with patrolling Sheriff who said overnight is fine “but some bums might bother you.” So far so good. Typical Walmart but entrance signs are beige not archetypical Wally blue.

De problème  pas très loin de siesta beach  et du  Oscar state-park avons rencontré des québécois ici pour dodo💤 endroits très apprécier  merci à walMart de  ns accepter 👍

Friends tried to stay there in their way to Everglades but were woken up by the police at night and asked to leave
