Ogden Walmart Supercenter

Parking lot is pretty tiny for a Walmart and was littered with trash, masks and shopping carts when I arrived. Was given conflicting answers as to whether overnight parking is allowed (signs say no but other reviewers say yes with certain permission) Finallydecided it wasn't worth the hassle of potentially getting kicked out at midnight, so I left.

Called and got permission to stay over on gardencenter side— absolutely clean parking lot and well laid out— good spots to walk our difs and we always pick up poo! I wrote mgr a thank you note - this is a hidden gem 

Ogden Police Dept patrol regularly. Issues with homeless staying in park by river as well as Walmart parking lot. Got a knock at the door less than an hour pulling in by OPD. Told them I'd called ahead and okay by management. He asked what they said. They said okay but park in north parking lot and not behind it. He said okay but be gone tomorrow. I didn't stay.

A rating is required to post......not sure 1 star is even appropriate but believe in sharing this information.  We read the review about the homeless people and decided to drive to Riverdale a bit down the road.  At Riverdale Walmart, we met others who had stopped here and been advised by the Manager to not stay in Ogdon but rather go a bit further to Riverdale.  Better to be safe than sorry!

Our cashier warned us they close at midnight and be careful they have a lot of homeless in the neighborhood. Proven by an arrest in the lot right next to us with six of Ogden's finest in attendance.  One star for large parking lot.
