Please Be Considerate

Walmart provides a great store with ample parking to accomodate RVs. Many even allow travellers to park and catch a few hours of rest (depending on city ordinances). Please use common courtesy and follow these guidelines to ensure that they will continue to extend this courtesy to us.

  1. Ask the store manager for permission to stay.
  2. Do not stay for multiple days.
  3. Leave it cleaner than you found it.
  4. No grills, chairs, etc. Walmart is not a campground.
  5. Buy your supplies, groceries, etc. in the stores.

“Overnight no longer allowed ”

Got woken up at four in the morning by The manager and he threatened to call the cops if I didn’t leave. Even though there’s no sign of no overnight parking, they kicked me out.

“No issues overnight ”

Big rigs take 2nd or 3rd entrance. Main entry has low hanging trees. We were the only campers this day.

Nice overnight stay. Big level parking lot.  I parked on the last row on the Goodwill side.  Very quiet night!!

“Our 1st time”

I called to get permission to stay overnight- they asked us to arrive after 9:00 & leave by 7:00. Well our schedule got us there much earlier but we parked far from the store which was PLENTY of space.  Was surprisingly quiet over night and we could walk to PLENTY of things nearby…eateries, Lowe’s, even a bowling alley was close by. We are sold on this overnight way to give us a break from the drive and this particular store was super nice!

“Excellent!”

Quiet, clean parking lot. Parked along grass strip across from Best Buy. Really clean Walmart and parking lot. Cheap Walmart gas. Many food places nearby!
