New Mexico Welcome Center

Southbound on I25 entering NM gps says exit at 460- which is a weigh station. Actual welcome center is exit 451. It’s not at the off ramp, it’s a mile or so towards town right next to a residential trailer park. 

There are 3 long rv lanes and plenty of car/camper parking avail. Level lot. The office was closed. The note said it was due to a covid issue and would be reopen on July 25th. They have a bunch of pamphlets to take about things to do and camping. 
It is off exit 251. From there make a right (following the signs). A cpl blocks down on the right hand side. It was easy to find however I do recommend turning into it when you see the location and not go past it. If you do go past it you have to go around the block which I can imagine is a little trickier for bigger rigs.
Unfortunately the water spigot was locked but a nice area to walk my dog and a dumpster. Also a few picnic tables in the shade.

Not a god place very sharp turn bad directions. Dot do it. 

Totally wrong and really had a mess of a time. Friends had to unhitch their toad to turn around. Kept saying to exit at exit 2 for welcome center. We should have known better when we didn’t see a large sign stating Welcome Center. 

All the information that you need. Don't forget to drive up the hill to the Raton city sign. Its like hillbilly Hollywood

You can overnight park, but they are very friendly and helpful to everything Mexico State can offer.
