Mason City Walmart Supercenter

When we pulled in, we parked behind another RV already set up. No one bothered us, and they have a gas station to boot. If you come through, be sure to take the time to visit the Buddy Holly memorial and crash site. It's only a few miles away.

We called and were told to park by the garden center side.  Very polite and happy Associate we spoke with.  Park as far out as you can they said and enjoy your stay.  Level lot and was quiet after closing.  Thank you!

While we are camping in a van this time around, we did see trucks parked here and decided to stay. It was fairly quiet and we had no issues. It was a long way to the next Walmart, so we decided to give it a go based on the previous review and were happy we did. 

Contacted management in April of 2019, overnight parking allowed. Campers and semi trucks were observed. I have stayed here without issue.

You must drive 10 miles down a dark road to get here. There are cart bins placed strategically around the borders to discourage grass side parking but I squeezed in.
Stayed the night, very peaceful.
Murphy gas station has diesel. Look for the green post on the end.

So we went to Fort Dodge
